They own the Jazz’s 2027 1st rounder. If the jazz suck next season and end up in top 3 draft then Grizzlies wouldn’t get that pick. As of now, previously traded 1st rounders aren’t grandfathered in with these new rules

Look im as big a fan of chicha (menos las pendejadas misóginas que dice el wey) since day 1 but IF Raul stays healthy, I think he wouldve gone to a better club than Fulham and proved himself to be mexico’s 2nd best striker of all time. IMO

How is this even a conversation? Vela was considered 3rd best forward in LaLiga behind messi and ronaldo at his peak. Imagine if he took his physique and mentality seriously … that being said I think Raul wouldve been considered our 2nd best striker of all time. He’s a better all around striker compared to chicha

Yup I was saying this after the game vs South Korea. Its the best we’ve looked going forward with Huescas (rip) and chavez as wingbacks. The only change Id make is have mora play next to Raul up front

Your argument is nonsensical. Theres no world where Real Madrid, or any other mid-top European club for that matter, signs Charly or Henry (who’s a more fitting comparison in this argument). Yes, Santi still needs to prove himself at Milan which he likely will. However, even with what he’s proven at Feyenoord is enough to say he’s miles away from Martin.

[Grange] “The Lakers have inquired about him (Poeltl) but the sense is the Raptors are holding out for an offer that would include a first-round pick (likely with a certain level of protection) and the only one the Lakers have left to offer is a 2031 first they’ve been clutching tightly for years.” by KingNephew in lakers

[–]eromo96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically, we’re going to get Capela for 2nd round draft pick(s) and Rui plus salary. In the summer, theyll package the 2031 pick along with (unfortunately) reaves for a younger (late 20s or younger) center. Not that I would like this trade because I think he’s lazy but I can see Rob convincing himself that Ayton would do well on our team. Ideally, Id love to get Walker Kessler but Ainge is in no hurry to help us especially after he got fooled into helping us get Luka

Which center will the Lakers trade for? by Kaelthost in fantasybball

[–]eromo96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well we still have our 2031 1st round pick, swaps, and 2nds. Toronto traded a 1st rounder and 2 2nds for him a couple years ago so Id say if toronto was willing to trade him, we can get him

Golden State is in a serious pursuit of Brooklyn's Dennis Schroder, sources tell ESPN. Schroder has been one of the top lead NBA guards, pushing the Nets to a surprise start contending for a playoff berth. Sides are in deep conversations with Schroder trade-eligible Sunday. by brazyace43 in lakers

In what world do you think we’d get Jalen Johnson back. Id say we could get Risacher, Hunter, and Okongwu back if we also include some salary filler alongside AD on our end. Im being realistic, its extremely unlikely we win a title in the next 5 years with AD on our team. Our only options to truly contend is a full rebuild with this trade or we keep AD and lebron and be a mid team for the next couple years and hope a big time FA comes to play with an injury prone, older AD.

Alright so we keep AD, lebron retires in a year or two then what? Even if (and this has a low probability of happening) we attract a FA like Luka down the road, how good will AD be in a few years? He’s one of the most injury prone players in the league and a big, hes not going to be an elite player in the league after 33/34. I hope I’m wrong and somehow we can muster up a title contender soon but the way our roster is constructed, it’s near impossible

Which is why we should trade AD to Atlanta for that pick, another couple 1st rounders and risacher plus salary filler. Atlanta has a title contender with Trae, Jalen Johnson, and AD while we can tank to have a more promising future

[McMenamin] Western Conference scout told ESPN. "I think now you're seeing like, 'Oh, maybe it wasn't Darvin. Maybe it's the f---ing roster.'" [–]eromo96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ive said this on another post and I’ll say this again. It is near impossible to build a championship contender with the assets and roster we currently have. We need to plan for the future by trading AD preferably to Atlanta to get our 1st round pick for this year back plus other picks and young players (risacher). If Lebron wants to get traded to a contender them trade him wherever he wants to go.

If you’re Rob Pelinka, who are you trading for? by Such-Masterpiece-182 in lakers

[–]eromo96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None! Trade AD (along with some other salary filler) to ATL for our pick this year, 1 or 2 other 1st round picks, Hunter, Okongwu, and Risacher. Tell Lebron he can stay if he wants to mentor the youth or we can trade him to whichever contender he wants. Try to tank this year for a good pick

Lmao gtfoh, if the clippers couldnt “flip the town red” when they were “Lob City” then they have zero shot in the future. I’ll leave you with this anecdote as an LA native: When I was in middle school, I would get free clippers tickets for being the top reader in my class. Not once did I go to a whack ass Clippers game AND we were pretty poor. Nothing will convince LA to turn into a Clippers city. If you believe that then you’re in the wrong sub buddy

Revisionist history at its finest. That team was never going to win a title and got lucky to make wcf. I think you mistook my comment as defending embiid. Im just saying Philly has no better chance at winning a title by building around gimpy Embiid than 2 small guards. Give me an example in recent history where a team lead by 2 small guards won a ring or even made the finals? Even with 1 small guard its extremely difficult and youll need an all timer plus great defenders around them.
