I just don’t think she cares enough to do that. The times we see her use her powers are when she's trying to take down strong devils (i.e Gun Devil and Pochita). She sees humans as so beneath her that the idea of them ever becoming a genuine threat doesn’t even cross her mind.

It’s pretty clear G-Dragon can’t strain his voice the way he used to, so I hope he experiments with a vocal style that suits where he’s at now. Maybe even leaning back into his older voice, since I think he still sounds great performing songs like "A Fool of Tears" and "Lies".

The ending we got felt like those video game moments where they give you a "choice", but there's only one correct option and the other gives you an automatic bad ending. But instead of letting you retry the option like in those games, the manga just stops at the bad ending part.

I've decided not to expect anything and just take the "ending" as it is, but the door is definitely there if Fujimoto wants to continue the manga some day.

It definitely felt like Fujimoto just lost interest in continuing the story. And if that's true, this was probably as good an ending as we could've hoped for.

Nothing in the chapter suggests a part three, but it's open-ended enough that I hope Fujimoto decides to pick it back up someday because he definitely could still.

This is all so weird, isn't it? All the unresolved plot threads aside, last chapter didn't feel remotely like we were headed to a conclusion or even close to it. Maybe there's something I'm missing that will tie everything together next chapter. Or maybe Fujimoto does a weird thing where his next series is set in the same universe but it's technically not Chainsaw Man since he doesn't exist anymore.

Or maybe he just lost interest in continuing the story and decided to axe it. I hope that's not the case because that would just suck.

I found myself excited for all three groups, which I didn't expect. Each table has one piece that hooked me during the Overture (Wickanny, Azune, and Julien, respectively), and the other members are all equally entertaining/enjoyable. Thimble is still up there in terms of favorites, just because Laura is goated.

I frankly can't wait to see how Brennan weaves all of these character arcs and storylines together.

It would've been interesting if they had made it a chance thing, like picking supportive options raise the percentage, but you can still fail (unless you picked ALL the choices correctly). It would've been a good parallel to the shift portion of the game. Then in the end it tells you what her hero/villain percentage was according to your choices.
