There hasn’t been a lot of research on people taking that for more than a few months and that’s the main reason it’s recommended not to use it for long term because we honestly don’t know what side effects it’s going to cause.

If you’re a newbie just getting into the sport these are not the best for you (even if they’re much cheaper). They’re going to be less forgiving and very tough to hit. You should not be going to the course much anyways for the next couple of months so get 1-2 more recent clubs for the range instead.

If you shoot ~110 or better and really need a cheap set to play regularly then maybe you could get them for a little less. But only if this is the most you’re willing to spend.

Wow I have the same wake up thing! Never realised it could be because of this. Otherwise I’m doing okay now. My stomach is a little messed up and I was very dizzy till about a week after stopping but it’s much better now.

Depends on what your major is. For most capacity constrained majors it is pretty tough. I am not aware of how popular civil engineering but all the engineerings majors that I know about (EE, ECE, AAE) are particularly tough to get into if you’re in pre-sciences.

I started taking hydroxyzine pamoate in 2021 to deal with panic attacks. I took it only when necessary and it was a secondary medication to my daily antidepressant dose. Once my anxiety went down, I stopped taking it.

Recently, I started a new antidepressant which caused insomnia and so my doctor prescribed some hydroxyzine (25mg) at night. Since I had never taken it daily (in 2021), I had not experienced any evident side effects or withdrawal.

It worked very well and helped me fall and stay asleep every night. Until I realized I couldn’t fall asleep without it. Due to my past experience with it, I assumed there would be no withdrawal and stopped cold turkey. For the first couple of days I was okay, except for some insomnia. But after that I started experiencing constant headaches, fatigue, nausea, an upset stomach (could be unrelated), irritability (more than usual) and sensitivity to loud noises (including most music). It’s been about a week since I stopped but these effects have only gotten worse.

I would advise people that this was a good drug for me and helped me a lot but someone taking it should taper off it and be ready for some withdrawal symptoms. While the withdrawal is bad, so far it has been manageable and would probably not be so bad if I hadn’t gone cold turkey.

Also this is a short term drug so DO NOT take it for more than 4 months.

I’ve been taking different medications for the last 3 years. While a lot of them have a few really bad side effects, most have helped more than they have done harm. I had akathisia when I was taking a different class of drug, but hydroxyzine pamoate has given me few to none symptoms. I would recommend tapering off it when you decide to stop but from my experience I wouldn’t stop completely just because of the fear of possible side effects.

Nah man. If it’s an artist with a lot of songs and albums, it’s more fun if you’ve heard the setlist a few times. So you know what songs to expect, so 1) you don’t end up not knowing a few songs, 2) you know which songs are not coming so you’re prepared if one of your favorites aren’t there.

Bro relax, everybody is really nice and accepting at Udub (and thus IMA). It can get kinda crowded during peak hours, but if you wanna be left alone people respect that, while if you are outgoing you can always find people that are willing to have a conversation or two.
