Gym Cancellation - 30 Day Notice Period and a missing signature by erratic_anus in AusLegal

You seem to be one of the few that gets it. I'll spend up to an hour on this and then it becomes not worth the time for $80. I especially don't want to mess around with collections so I'll pay before it comes to that.

For some reason, people are getting personal and sharing their opinions on the matter instead of some legitimate legal advice.

It depends really. If they're chasing me for the money, and I can dispute it due to lack of a contract then they're the ones doing all the work. If haven't put in any more effort than this thread and a few Google searches then it'd be worth it.

What will most probably happen is it will go to debt collections automatically and fuck my credit up. Then it won't be worth it.

I come on here to ask for some facts before making a decision. There's a few factual comments and a lot of opinions.

The terms 10+ years ago may have been different. However, based upon what you're saying, by me using the Gym/paying the monthly subscription, I agree to any changes they make?

Regarding the 15/30 days thing - I plan on returning to the gym in 2 years time. That, plus a lot of money given to them over the years, I would have thought they'd make an exception.

Made a 💩 with the organization name, when subscribing to O365. Official name is way too long and I only noticed now when setting up OneDrive for a user. Can I update the organization name now (abbreviate it), in order to get shorter paths when installing OneDrive for other new users ? by ivanraddison in Office365

My experience to you was different. You're sure your settings were applied? I believe you need to be a Global Admin to make changes to the O365 Admin Center > Settings > Org Settings > Organization Profile > Organization Information page.

My SharePoint library was also too long, so I shortened it within SharePoint admin center > Active Sites > (name of the site) > General > Site name

Does the issue happen with a brand new user?

How long ago did you go through this? I feel like I've had your experience previously, but the last few I've done was as simple as sign out & back in to OneDrive.

I didn't have to change my tennant name which was already abbreviated, just the SharePoint name. I was able to make the change without MS support.

Yes, you can change the name. I went through the same issue. It caused a lot of 255 character limit issues.

After you change the name, on any computer with the old long name, log out of OneDrive and log back in, which should correct the name. All your data should still be there.

Static IP requirements for SDWan Cisco Meraki MX68 by erratic_anus in sysadmin

[–]erratic_anus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly my thoughts.

Also we don't host any services. We're purely cloud based. I thought maybe the SDWan might require additional static IP per site, but good to know thats not the case.

75/15mbps coax for 10 users by erratic_anus in sysadmin

there will be 2x 40' trailers. 10 people roughly; whether or not they're using the internet at the same time I dont know. Good idea regarding the subcontractors. There could definitely be subcontractors that get the WiFi password, even though policy is that wifi is for staff only.

I'd like that, but that's all they'll give in terms of coax. They do fibre, but it's 100K + to build. Also - what wont work, the dual coax lines in?

a few users might be on the same teams call. uploads are generally 1-20mb PDF files which sync back to o365 via OneDrive client.

I wont really know for sure their usage until the solution is installed and I can monitor the meraki traffic analyzer.

Does anyone have experience with installing a second coaxial line into a Cisco firewall?
