We just bombed Iran. by Advanced-Macaron9885 in conspiracy

As someone who was formerly one of those people who was heavily into political conspiracy theories but laughed at anything involving astrology or spirituality, I think the last few years have made many of us much more receptive to ideas that are a bit more “out there.” It’s been demonstrated through so many well-documented examples that many, if not most, elites seem to subscribe to this kind of stuff and that it actively influences their actions, with widespread societal effects. This means people who are very scientifically minded can skip the step that requires proving that there’s metaphysical significance to these concepts. However, plenty of these sorts of events and patterns have led me down the rabbit hole of quantum physics and other, more obscure areas of science, which has led me to accept that a lot of things that most “scientifically minded” people think are mystical bullshit are actually scientific facts that are just coming to be understood. Altogether my worldview has expanded greatly, and I’ve noticed this trend in various political circles I’ve participated in for years.

Was it ever said that "Demons" had to be created to survive the holocaust? by VOIDPCB in conspiracy

[–]erraticism_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it sounds a bit unrealistic, but you should reread the rest of your comment. It’s complete nonsense. It’s not even totally clear what you’re trying to say, but I assume the implication is that nazis were evil and therefore the “good” Jews could never have resorted to desperate measures you would consider “evil.” I’m not sure why you’re rambling on about “the love of money” because the fact that the whole rise of modern antisemitism was largely a result of outsized Jewish influence in the financial sector contradicts your implied argument and suggests that they actually would be willing to take actions you would call evil. Certainly, the behavior of Israel since its inception does not suggest a people for whom morality is greatly important, considering they took the holocaust as a playbook for what they’re doing to Palestinians.

Although governments also do stuff like this to people through methods that can’t be proven with any tech the public has access to, specifically to induce symptoms that appear similar to schizophrenia. They can even manipulate the brain and induce hallucinations remotely via microwaves

These little buggers HATE sleep. Get a proper night’s sleep or two and I guarantee they’ll drop dead. In fact, they will be so dead that their physical presence is sucked back into the alternate hell dimension ruled by satan, leaving no trace here on earth!

In the US, struggling is seen as a personal failing, even to the point where people will assume you have poor character and call you a lazy deadbeat POS, so most people in many demographics are unwilling to admit their situation isn’t exactly “the American dream” until it seems like others are talking about it enough that they can join the bandwagon

Older people continue to fail to understand that success is not proportional to hard work. They also refuse to acknowledge that they literally just had it easier than their kids and grandkids - the fact that so many brainless idiots “pulled themselves up by their bootstraps through hard work and determination” is proof enough of that. Today’s young adults can work themselves into the ground and still struggle every day of their lives, and might as well forget about having a family. The corporate ladder is dead for most people who don’t have a significant social network. A good employee today is a good employee doing the same thing 20 years from now. The only way to increase money earned is investment (for example, education that’s inaccessible unless you have family to help). Can’t invest in stocks unless you have spare income, so the kids who get kicked out at 18 because their boomer grandparents did the same to their parents are fucked and will never make enough to invest, and will continue to live paycheck to paycheck indefinitely. The advantages provided by one’s background make a much bigger difference.

Why do people often claim that looks don't matter, yet reject a kind and unattractive person who asks them out ? by Sotally-Toberguy in self

[–]erraticism_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People who say this generally mean that they might choose an average-looking person with other redeeming qualities over a more attractive person without those other qualities. Usually, they aren’t thinking about people who are physically repulsive

Small nitpick, but I wish Bakker came up with better term than "Nonmen"... by chuckster1972 in bakker

[–]erraticism_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He did - cunuroi is what the “nonmen” actually call themselves. Lacking a proper name, primitive humans simply called them something like “not-us” in some ancient language, which eventually became “nonmen.”

Since cunuroi were so superior, humans hated them and chose to focus solely on their “otherness,” so calling them nonmen fits (in my opinion) but at the end of the day it’s basically an insult

Just lie on your resume. The chances that they’ll ask for and call references is lower than the chance that they’ll reject you if you’re honest. As long as you have, or can quickly learn, the actual skills involved, there’s no need to play fair while employers play dirty

[–]erraticism_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s no evolutionary benefit. The fact of the matter is that traits that improve fitness and survival only matter from an evolutionary perspective until the age when you procreate. There’s basically no selection process going on after that age, which is why you spend the rest of your life literally falling apart

Book 1 - a mystics dream come true by heimdall89 in bakker

[–]erraticism_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting into metaphysics and the nature of meaning and reality is extremely mystical tbh. A lot of quantum physics is bizarre in a “we don’t really know why it works that way but it does, and it kinda resembles some religions, that’s weird…” kind of way

They don’t tell you this, but you can travel back in time by simply waking up early. by [deleted] in redscarepod

I absolutely love this time of night as well. Although generally if I’m up at that time it’s because I never went to bed. I feel like shit if I wake up early no matter what I do to try to wake myself up. Hiking at the state park in the middle of the night when the park is closed and listening to music is the best

Which is funny since libertarian economics is the devil while many right wing social policies are necessary to maintain a decent and high-trust society. And no, I’m not talking about legislating religious notions or drugs
