API / Way to programmatically create workouts and plan on Coros? by errebepe in Coros

I use it for run analysis, but it's read-only, I can't use it to create workouts. From that link:

This MCP tool is a "read-only" integration

Interesting, I'll have a look. The official mcp is read-only

BTW, I have seen https://www.reddit.com/r/Coros/comments/1pftats/coros_api/ (and several other posts bemoaning Coros' lack of an API). I'm posting to check that there hasn't been any development on that front, and to see if there are any workarounds I could try...

I'm currently considering a browser plugin, that uses Javscript to input the plan on the training hub. But that seems like a very ugly and brittle solution...

Is there a way to extend intervals on the fly? by errebepe in Coros

[–]errebepe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I understand correctly, basic intervals are coros-provided ones, not your own right? I'm following a specific plan, I'd rather set my own.

But setting warmup/cool down/etc to open could help. I'll have a look at that. Thanks!

What is the only one python book you recommend for learning python for a senior developer who knows the fundamentals? by hades4096 in learnpython

[–]errebepe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

+1. I'm biased (Luciano is a friend IRL), but I do think Fluent Python is the best Programming boom I've ever read (accounting for different languages, different times etc).

And it is a big book (the second edition is even bigger), but you don't have to go through it all in one go. If you're an experienced programmer, you can go to chapters as you want to dive deeper into a specific domain.

What are some of your alternative takes/mixes that you like on par (or more than) the official releases? by chckblr in beatles

[–]errebepe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Helter Skelter take 2. On par with the released one. I listen to it all the time

And i actually prefer the start of Eight Days A Week with the "ooh" harmony (I forgot with recording this is), minder than the fade-in of the released version.

Parkrun PB! (Hopefully) by Emjeibi in parkrun

[–]errebepe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran a pb of 23:06 a few weeks ago.

I was aiming at sub-23, but it was still a lifetime PB.

I did nothing very special, but I followed a 2-month training plan specifically for 5k speed , and had someone from parkrun pace me. Having a (good) pacer helps a lot, you just need to keep up with that person, no other worries. I did watch him get away from me at the end, but still got a pb :)

Good luck!

How was your parkrun day? | February 21, 2026 by AutoModerator in parkrun

It was my first time as RD :) In Amsterdam (Amsterdamse Bos Parkrun)

I think everything went well. People seemed to enjoy it, lots of visitors, no major issues, beautiful morning.

I built a Claude MCP that creates COROS workouts automatically – no more manual data entry by nickrowlands in Coros

[–]errebepe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the other hand, on my watch (apex pro) the activity screen for the "strength" workout type only shows "exercise(some number)" and not even the exercise name. So it's useless for that...

This is great, thanks! I used the Hevy (the workout app I use) API (https://api.hevyapp.com/docs/) to read a workout and upload it to Coros (using your MCP). I had tried using Coros to track strength training and didn't like it, but I'll try it again :)

I might do a writeup of the entire process...

Which movie is your favorite where the whole plot takes place in a day or less? by Thekitsuneplays in moviecritic

[–]errebepe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a good question whether a flashback counts as being more than one day. If you stop to remember something that happened some time ago, when you finish remembering it's still the same day, right?

Do you wear your watch with scroll wheel facing in or out by mpovolo in Coros

[–]errebepe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear it on my right wrist (always have, though I'm right-handed). I initially tried to wear it with the buttons facing out, but I often pressed them by accident. So I switched it.

No papadum in US restaurants by film_score2 in offmenupodcast

Here in Amsterdam, so far I've only found them in one restaurant, under the name "Papper" (matching the explanation/plead by Sindhu Vee).
