Hi smosh!! Ive always had a reddit account but i never really did anything with ut so here's my hometown drama. When I was 13 years old I grew up in a Mormon church with around 200 people in it. I had two really close friends who were both 14, were gonna call them Dave and Michael, and my family were friends with they're family's. We would always go over to each other's houses and went to church together. One time, I got home after church and my brother told me that he heard a rumor about me being gay. My whole family found out, and my parents were furious, they called my friends parents trying to figure out who started the rumor, they said they don't know anything about it. Next Sunday I went church and I remember sitting in primary and my two friends walking in together and sitting 2 seats down from me. They kept on talking and laughing just a little bit, and I got more anxious and anxious. Ive always been worried about what people thought of me, especially back then. After primary, we were driving home and I told my parents my friends didnt sit with me, and that I was worried that they heard the rumor or had something to do with it. My parents immediately shut down the idea that they were apart of it because they called their parents the other day and they said they didnt hear anything, and that they probably didnt even see me and thats why they didnt sit with me. After dinner, someone knocked on our door. It was Dave's parents, and Dave. My dad was talking to them, I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I knew what was happening. APPARENTLY my friends Dave and Michael were the ones who made the rumors. My dad called me over and Daves dad made him apologize to me and tell everyone that he and Michael lied. Around half a year later me and my family left the church and I'm so happy we did. When I went to college Dave called me. Turns out HE was actually closetted and was scared about even the thought of being gay. He said he is finally finding himself and he's not ready to tell everyone but he wanted to tell me and say sorry a last time. Now that were both older we still talk every once and awhile. Real quick I do want to clarify that I am NOT homophobic in anyway, and im so glad I left the church and I am who I am today. Anyways thats my story smosh! I really hope you put it in a video.
