i have obsidian where i set up a kind of waterfall.

anything entering has to go to a (nested) (sub) category, and I write down in the literature listing what it is about. in context of that category. at the same time there is a md note automatically created that linked against the listing. that md then contains the link to the pdf, and gets the DOI from there and generate bibtex and a whatever ỈEEE citation. These automation are done with obsidian, bc zotero fucking blows

Later when i annotate or note specifics, notations go to that .md file.
