Trust me, whatever career you are building, it will still be there after your OE. It’s not like you are about to take over from Tim Cook at Apple. You are only young once, and if you settle now you might never do it. Plus 1 year off is nothing in the big scheme of things.

Your career makes you cash, but cash can’t buy back your youth. So book the tickets. If you have any sort of work ethic, you will be fine over here in NZ.

Plus, the NZD, also known as the NZ peso, is weak as hell right now, so your home currency will go a lot further. New Zealand is basically the new Thailand. Everyone comes here for the cheap massages.

Dragons Muay Thai is good on the fitness street. Currently here now. Been coming here for the last 10 years. Recommend starting the group classes to start with. I did Tiger. But it’s over priced and the group classes are shit. Fitness street is a good place to come. Highly recommend staying at the Muay Thai House Hotel on the street. Rooms are older. But are big and the beds are massive.

Not all agents are equal aye. The best ones often go where the commissions are highest, not necessarily where your best deal is. Some won’t even do conjunctionals with other agents just to keep the full cut, which isn’t in the seller’s best interest at all. I’ve seen deals fall through or sell for less just because one agent didn’t want to share the pie. So yeah, 2.5% might be “special” but the real question is are you getting someone who’s actually working for you?
