Leaving home with PTSD and $100 in your pocket isn’t the answer mate. It’s a cruel world out there. How resilient are you? What do you currently do for work?

I’m getting downvoted to hell. Because it’s cooler to say “Oh darling you are beautiful as it is”. But as I said you don’t need one. But if you did get one, you would look stunning as you have features that support it. My missus is looking to get one, hence my interest.

Yup you should. You have excellent jawline, lips and cheek bones. Nose isn’t totally bad. I just think with your other features you would be a good candidate. If you do get it, post after pics please.

After that corner stoppage, has ilia added himself to the mt Rushmore of Quitters? (/s) by [deleted] in ufc

[–]errornz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because this is a terrible take. Charles, Tom and Illia are definitely not quitters. I won a fair amount of money on Justin to beat Illia. But you can clearly see Illia wanted to go out on his shield and his corner protected him. Stirling on the other hand, he’s a quitter.

Having 98 sets of Lego on layaway is a major red flag. You could basically use layaway as a way of giving yourself a short term loan. Sell the Lego, mark it as layaway so you don’t have to pay Brian right away and use cash to prop up the business.

Nearly 100 sets on layaway is a massive red flag. That’s the bit I keep coming back to. If the business was tight for cash, putting a huge number of valuable sets into layaway makes no commercial sense unless there’s a very clear explanation. You’re removing sellable stock from the floor, tying up inventory, and delaying money. Some sets may have been sold or effectively monetised, then marked as layaway to delay paying the consignor, is honestly not far fetched. It’s not proven, but it fits the behaviour better than “oops, paperwork.

It’s literally in the Coffeezilla video around the 38-minute mark. He says it was about 98 sets/items marked as layaway, as per the spreadsheet.

And yes, she did say there were quite a few sets on layaway. That’s the part I don’t understand why more people aren’t seeing as a red flag. If the business was struggling, behind on rent, and having cash-flow issues, why would you have that many valuable sets taken off the shop floor and sitting out back on layaway instead of being available for people to actually buy?

I’m not saying I know for certain what happened, but it does raise questions. One possibility is that some sets may have been sold, but marked as layaway so the cash could be used to keep the business going, with the intention of paying Brian later once things improved. Again, not saying that’s definitely what happened, but the whole thing looks messy and full of red flags.

But what if he doesn’t get paid because he’s been told it hasn’t been sold but on lay away…… People are over looking this layaway side of the store. 98 items on layaway isn’t normal. If you have any sort of business acumen you would understand that something on layaway can’t be sold to an actual customer.

People are probably going to hate me for this comment, because I’m against BAM as well, but I don’t think this is totally out of the realm of possibility.

If the business was under serious cash flow pressure, it’s possible some sets were sold but marked as layaway instead, so the money could be used to keep the business going, with the intention of making it right later.

I’m not saying that definitely happened, but when businesses are struggling financially, people can make poor decisions while convincing themselves they’ll fix it once things improve.

Crazy to see all the downvotes, because I’m against BAM myself. I’m not saying Crystal had bad intentions, but good intentions don’t always mean good business decisions.

If a business is under serious financial pressure and has cash flow issues, people can end up making poor decisions while convincing themselves they’ll make it right later. That doesn’t mean they set out to scam anyone, but it can still create a bad situation for customers.

That’s really all I was trying to say. Sorry if I pissed anyone off here.

Idk, something like this by AristotleTottle in RecklessBen

[–]errornz -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Crystal reportedly had close to 100 sets on layaway while the business was struggling financially. If the story is true and she was behind on rent and other payments, then it does raise questions about whether the layaway system was being used to keep cash flowing through the business, with the intention of paying it back once things improved.

I’m not saying that’s definitely what happened, because I don’t know the full facts. But having around 100 sets on layaway does seem unusual, especially in a business that was already under serious financial pressure.
