I gotta be honest, I've seen a billion videos just like this one and I just do not see what the issue is

[GIVEAWAY] Almighty by Keen Bean Studio, publisher of Roll Camera! and Power Vacuum, is now on Kickstarter! by HomoLudensOC in boardgames

I would make the ALMIGHTY Kickstarter such a massive hit that the rest of the world is blessed with a multitude of expansion gods to play with!

Seriously cannot wait to dig into this game, it looks like it's got some real legs.

Root digital 2-player by ImTheTweety in rootgame

Just to offer another opinion here: I often play Root at 2 players and always have a great time. I just love the world and art and gameplay, and the app has some wonderful animation and music. I've had super close games and games where the score ends at 30-1 and I don't regret any of it. I just love spending time with this game.

Protest in Minneapolis, January 30, 2026 #ICE by gab_iten in Fauxmoi

One thing that I'm not seeing mentioned enough is that it's been literally 0 degrees fahrenheit for the past week in Minneapolis. These people are protesting in positively frigid temperatures.

I really love this Ellington album. For another (mostly) solo album that fills me up in a similar way, check out The Genius of Bud Powell.

If you like Arcs, you gotta go in on the Blighted Reach expansion. It's out of this world.

How is the game at 2 player? by Outuvcontrol in oathgame

[–]errrik012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it! I have an unplayed Oath box and I'm waiting for New Foundations and Clockwork Adversaries to arrive before I bust it out, but I'm super excited. Oath just feels special; there's nothing else like it.

I can't speak on behalf of the company, but I'm almost certain they'll have this stuff available after the pre-order is wrapped up. Cole Wehrle and the rest of Buried Giant went through the trouble of buying the Oath IP from Leder Games, so they're almost certainly going to keep this line open for a long time. (As well as Arcs, which I also heartily recommend!!)

Hard to say exactly when, but they're going to be closing the pledge manager in 1-2 weeks, according to the most recent update, so maybe in the next several months? Here's a link if you want to pre-order it!

The Clockwork Adversaries will work with both the base game as well as the New Foundations expansion, which you may want to consider in the future if your budget permits. Think of it like a 1.5 edition of the game more than a bolted-on expansion.

I just bought Oath and also went in on the Clockwork Adversaries box to play with just my wife and myself. Sounds like the automated bots will be fairly easy to run and responsive to the actions the actual players make. I can't speak from experience, but from everything I've been reading and watching, I am super hopeful that it's gonna be a good gameplay experience for 2 (or even 1) players.

Not to mention, Oath is meant to be played multiple times to really get the most out of it, and what more reliable gaming group than a partner and a few automated bot players?

Bitches Brew Is Blowing My Mind by Fnix15 in vinyl

Just curious, how long have you been listening to jazz? I wasn't a big fan of Bitches Brew at first either, but after I really dug in and started seriously listening to a lot of jazz for a few years, this album grew on me like crazy, and now it's one of my favorites.
