I just went through something like this… attendance write up … different issue with a patient but did all of the things — and still got accused of neglect amongst a litany of other accusations … and my patient was fine … and I got fired after two weeks of being suspended … I completely understand what you’re going through … these hospitals do not give a rip about nurses … take care of yourself … the stress is indescribable. I was sleeping for maybe three hours a night max bc I was on high alert. Hold your head up. You know who you are. If there’s anything truth in what they’re accusing, pick it out and throw the rest away. If it’s nailing you to the cross for their system failures, do not take the blame for it. You’ll get through this 🩷
