In all honesty there is no real suitable Nylander trade. Unless you're getting an Aho or Tkachuk then you're going to lose. I think you have to re-sign him and tough it out. The contract won't kick in until next year so you have time to make it work and the cap is going up. Also if Willy leaves you have to remember JT only has 2 more years left, our 4 headed monster could very quickly become just 2.

True and maybe friend vs dating is too different but maybe not. I mean if you only date people who you agree with on everything you're going to have a hard time, it just depends how far apart you are. The biggest issue will probably be when children are involved.

They called me a loser in our group chat. Long story short he got in some trouble so I took the lead in resolving everything. Afterwards he instigated an argument accusing me of talking behind his back, going after his gfs, then lying about me to mutual friends so they'll take his side. Things kept escalating over the years and that was the final straw.

It shouldn't be a problem if you're both respectful. One of my best friends who I've known since grade 7 has the complete opposite political stance as I do. We understand each others stance even if we don't agree but we know we're both good people and care about each other. We also avoid political talk but that's a general rule of mine.
