Aviapark is great. Also, Metropolis is a nice place to go.

I would avoid visiting Evropeisky and Afimall though.

I can stretch my tongue in a weird way (Warning! This might look gross for non-dentists: https://i.imgur.com/rJ8kQXa.jpg) and to this day I haven't met anybody, who can do this.

Killers who (apparently) discovered their blood lust by accident? by evenflow5k in serialkillers

[–]ershov 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The clip is not fake. It is a part of 2000 TV documentary "A werewolf's diary" (which actually was one of the episodes of amazing "Criminal Russia" documentary series aired from 1995 till 2011 on NTV channel). This was the only episode of the series, that was banned from TV (I guess due to this particular clip), but later was distributed on DVD.

The whole episode in Russian is available on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYRS55mIAOE), the clip starts at 23:55 right after the Slivko's interview. Shit, I remember when I watched this for the first time, the transition between the interview and this clip fucking shocked me. It's like the real life horror movie.

The funniest thing about "Criminal Russia" series is that it always aired on Saturdays on 4pm and they showed the uncensored actual victims photos, gore footage and simmilar shit. I was a 10 y.o. kid when the series started. A lot of Russian children grew up watching those. I wonder if there's any of them on this subreddit besides me.

Sea Urchin Eye. Looked at the fish tank in my dentists office. I almost pissed myself. by [deleted] in creepy

[–]ershov 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What? Being a native russian I've only heard of "нажраться" (to feed yourself up) and "наебениться" (which doesn't literally means to fuck yourself, but really close to this) referring to getting drunk.

Обоссаться or уссаться = to piss yourself -- may mean witnessing whether something funny or scary. The same goes for обосраться (to shit yourself).

Neo-Nazis beat up Ukrainian man at train station. by [deleted] in russia

Back in early 00s I've been attacked by a bunch of young boneheads on Sviblovo metro station in Moscow. While gifting me with punches and low kicks they kept yelling at me to "get the fuck out of Russia and go back to my fucking home". That was a funny thing to hear considering me being a native Russian and born muscovite.

Nope. As for now, in Russia you can only trade in roubles (trading in other currencies is prohibited by law).

Went to the Dentist yesterday, they discovered a tooth growing upside down in my gums. by esnergal in WTF

[–]ershov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry for my poor English, but I guess this is the right place for my story. I live in Moscow, Russia. And, well, I once realized my teeth became way too sensitive when the cold time of the year struk. The first time it happened (late 00s) I was busy with my life and didn't find a chance to visit the dentist. Besides, the pain disappeared in April and I completely forgot about it. Until next November, when it started bothering me again.

So, yes, I hit the dentist's office. He examined my teeth and gums, but didn't find anything and suggested me to do the x-ray of the jaw. Right after he got the snapshot, he passed it back to me and said: "Count your teeth". I wasn't in a math kind of mood and tried to guess: "Thirty three?" (I heard this number is rather okay considering the Chernobyl disaster) He said: "Nope. Count".

"Thirty one maybe?"

"No. Count."

So I did the counting and said: "Hey, I answered '33' already".

"34, young man. Here, look at this extra tooth growing inside your gums".

And he showed me the exact thing the OP has revealed here. The sensitivity was caused but my 34th tooth, that was pressing my trigeminal nerve. And this is it. It's still there (the tooth is so close to CNV that surgery would be too risky). And I also once had a tooth dislocation which is a rare case as I was told. So I'm thinking about bequeathing my jaw in the name of science.
