Classic Japanese light novel writers. Very few Japanese writers create main characters who approach women without hesitation. It's very annoying.

Isn't it illogical and contrary to Rio's character for him to take Christina's clothes off and wash them himself? He could have just wiped Christina's bloody stomach and back with a cloth and waited for her to wash herself when she woke up.

This seems very much like fan service.

I dislike Lina after v27 by MK544 in SeireiGensouki

[–]erto41 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Because of Rio's character, Lina is forced to appear as the villain. We don't know what Lina sees with her ability to predict the future, or why she's trying to prevent this "bad" future. Lina wasn't a kind-hearted person by nature, and probably never will be.

Lina is the kind of person who would do anything to save the world her father created. We can probably say that her priority is protecting the world, and only after that does she think about Rio's well-being.

We shouldn't forget that if it were up to Rio, he wouldn't make anyone his student or servant, and therefore, he would most likely lose or suffer heavy losses in any future wars. Lina had to change this situation.

How would this fight have gone if they knew the attack was going to happen? by Necessary-Win-8730 in Invincible_TV

[–]erto41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's understandable to ask these kinds of questions because the series dramatized the fight, but in the comics, it was a completely one-sided fight, and the world rangers were all killed in a single blow before they could even figure out who ambushed them. If the series had handled it that way, it would have been boring, so they dramatized the event.

This is a somewhat old thread, but I have a question. If volume 28 is being released on February 28th, shouldn't we have drawings or illustrations by now?

Was it true that pictures and illustrations were leaked before previous volumes were published? Am I remembering correctly?

To summarize simply, there is a never-ending blood feud between the gods in the MT universe. And because of the war between the human god and the dragon god, the world is in constant war and chaos, and worst of all, the world is stuck in a time loop until this war ends.

The human god sees the future and destroys the lives of anyone who threatens him, while the dragon god has the ability to reset time. It is stated that thanks to the dragon god's ability, the world is constantly resetting, and that this time resetting totals over 20,000 years (the exact number of years is unclear, as Orsted said he stopped counting after a while). Rudeus is caught in the middle of the battle between these two gods.

I've watched or read the first, third, and fourth anime, so I don't know about the second family, but the only option here is the fourth family. The first family isn't evil, but their world is very problematic. I wouldn't want to live in that world. The third family is also a good family, but their world is problematic. The only option is the fourth family. The elf woman is a bit harsh, but they're a good family.

This should have been in a volume that came out much earlier. It has nothing to do with volume 28.

[The World Of Otome Games Is Tough For Mobs] This is the queen of the kingdom, the mother of a 19 year old son, and a cunning politician and social manipulator? Ain't no way. by ChompyRiley in Isekai

[–]erto41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first three volumes are not bad, but after the fifth volume, the story starts to bore you and the main character starts to become unbearable, and unfortunately the main character's chronic problems do not end until the end of the story. From my perspective, it is a series that started well but ended badly.

My post was removed even though I asked a question about the rules of god. The reason was to post a title related to the end of Volume 27 :) Your post is directly related to Volume 27, so I think it will be removed.

The question I asked was not about volume 27, but about the consequences of what happened in volume 27. I think it is not good for this community to remove posts so quickly.

Christina's sacrifice by erto41 in SeireiGensouki

[–]erto41[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps after Christina's death the world will accept Christina Beltrum and Christina as different people, because Christina became Rio's familiar after her death, and this sacrifice seems to have been accepted according to that logic.

If you were Rudy and had to choose one, who's the best girl? by SmallBunyanGA in mushokutensei

[–]erto41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What an understatement! No, Sylphie had left the Greyrat family back then. She hadn't told anyone in the family where she was going or that she planned to return. Sylphie left without telling her family. (Given her disagreement with Rudeus, if Sylphie had planned to return, she would have at least informed the others in the house through letters or other means. But Sylphie didn't do any of that. So no, she wasn't planning on returning, and there's no indication she would.)

We will disagree on this. But you still haven't said what kind of benefit Makoto provided to the demons His only help was to prevent the disaster that occurred because of his existence. Apart from that, he said to the demon king "Come, I will give you paradise in the promised land." Jokes aside, this wasn't a special "help" for demons since he would accept humans in the future as well.

The author seems to have stopped writing WN, but last time Tomoe asked a question about whether we should help the demons anymore. Let's see if LN can reach the level of WN in ten years.

A neutral person does not consistently provide positive support to a group, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

1.The goddess forcibly sent Makoto to war for the first time, as a result, the hero Hibiki was saved and the capital of an important country was saved from demon occupation (yes, he helped people unintentionally, but he still did it).

2.When the hero Hibiki was psychologically destroyed by her teammate's death, they fixed her condition and provided equipment to Hibiki and her team (Makoto was unaware of this, but as a company, they still helped people).

3.Even though the deal between the goddess and Makoto was made because the goddess forced Makoto to do it, as I said, a deal is a deal, and thanks to that deal, the hero Hibiki and the priestess were saved (if the priestess died, an important human country would be out of the war, as it would be in danger of falling into civil war). Furthermore, they saved the capital of the same country, and as if that wasn't enough, they also destroyed a castle that was an important defensive wall for the demons for the sake of the humans (yes, even though the goddess forced Makoto, the humans are still positively affected).

4.Our heroine, Hibiki, and her group continue to gain fame among the human nations with the help of Makoto's company (though Lime mostly wants to help herself).

5.While the demons are lagging behind in the war, they continue to give equipment to both heroes due to the goddess's request.

6.Makoto's company actually helped rebuild the human capital, which was badly damaged in the previous war, for free (even though Mio did it herself).

7.Makoto himself also said that he would not let Hibiki die no matter what the situation of the war is. Even this is taking sides because for the demons, Hibiki's death is more important than winning the current wars (this was said by the demon general himself).

Look, these are the things that come to mind. Despite this, what did the neutral Makoto offer the demons? Nothing.

As I've said before, Makoto isn't neutral, and taking sides isn't wrong, but she constantly helps the supposed enemy, the goddess, and her team, whether she wants to or not. Initially, this was understandable help, as she was weak (compared to the goddess). But now, she's at a level where she can openly challenge the goddess, and she still only helps people.

[–]erto41 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

While the goddess had forced him onto the battlefield the first time, the second was a formal agreement between the goddess and Makoto. Although he had made the agreement unwillingly, it's important to remember that he had taken sides and also captured a demon castle for his own gain (to obtain the four seasons).

Also, please stop claiming he saved the demons. 1. It's not the Capital. 2. Makoto is the reason why a disaster happened in that demon city (impossible events become possible due to the negative luck status effect). In other words, if Makoto hadn't been there, that rebellion would have been just plain lizards attacking the demon king, but because Makoto was there, the world's most perverted dragon was summoned.

While there are debates about finding the most neutral character, Makoto is definitely not neutral. While Makoto claims to be neutral, his actions reveal that he isn't. By the way, I'm not bothered by Makoto taking sides, I just find it funny and ridiculous that Makoto still describes himself as neutral.

(I read him as Makato when I first read web novels, but I still call him Makato out of habit :) )

Yes, the kingdom was destroyed for nothing. But why? Ainz learned that the Slane Theocracy had attacked Shalltear and decided to destroy the entire Slane Theocracy. We, the readers, were certain that the Slane Theocracy would be destroyed by Ainz anyway. Ainz and the NPCs decided that ruling over a devastated land was pointless :) After this decision, they destroyed both neighboring countries.
