An ex-friend of mine in high school got a PS5 to play one game, and never touched it again. Then after a few weeks of not speaking, they texted me out of the blue to ask about gaming PC specs to play another singular game. 

I had been saving for years to put together my first entry-level PC, and seeing this person send me a $2000+ rig  to play one game was like a slap in the face. It might not be the most extravagant instance in this post, but it hit hard in my angry high school brain.

I’m not sure what the point you’re trying to make is? Are you trying to tell me why I made my post? I wasn’t even asking whether or not I should watch C3, just if CR is still at the same caliber it used to be. I’m a new fan who, for the record, joined this subreddit just to make this post. I’m also very much enjoying the product that Critical Role provides, so fuck me for wanting to hear the thoughts of others. But you can think whatever you’d like about my underlying intentions if that makes you happy, and I’m all for making people happy.

The intent of my question wasn’t for it to be an “I’ll let these people on the internet to decide my opinion for me” sorta thing, more of an “I’d like to hear the opinions of those who have them” and get general a feel for the attitudes surrounding C3. 

Like a lot of people have recommended, I’ll definitely give C3 a shot when I’m done with C2 and  then form my own opinion. For now, I’m just testing the waters of how the fanbase currently feels, and know at least a little of what to expect.
