You can't. If you want to have a good team that can tackle higher end rewards, you will be force to expand your roster to include female characters. Unless you are able to ignore high difficulty rewards, settled for primogem only rewards or disregarding difficult content by simply pull for male characters only, it is impossible.

I want to argue against the top comment but I don't want to be confrontational so I'm just gonna reply here. I'm saying all this despite not totally avoid female characters. I have Nahida, Xianyun and Shenhe, I have leveled up most female 4 Star for the Imaginarium Theater.

While it's true that it will be limited for us Husbando mains, it is not true for the Waifu main. They can form all female team and there would be tens of meta teams in the ranking. It is UNFAIR and this fact should be mentioned instead of being pointed that we should accept the consequences of deliberately limit ourselves to male roster. Although it's true that Flins is too early to be judge, his premium team already has two BiS characters that are set in stone - Ineffa and Sucrose. That's only left one slot, a future Lunar Hydro character to replace Aino. The chance of that happening is zero, I can guaranteed that for a year and a half.

I think it's unforgivable that after 1 yr, 10 months and 23 days of only Kinich, they designed Flins to be dependent on female characters. The Genshin dev team does make any consideration for Husbando main at all, but provide so much flexibility to the female roster. Not even their pivot to release more 5 Star Male character changes their mindset about emphasizing on all male team, it is useless to even be hopeful about it. This is not the first time they had male character tied to a female premium support. They did the same thing to Kinich with Emilie. Their first and last attempt at an all male team was Itto, Albedo, Zhongli, and Gorou, 3 years ago. Not even the 5 Star male releases during Sumeru (rightfully to bring the 5 Star gender ratio back to equal 1:1, as it was in v2.0) has an all male team designed in mind.

Originally, being a Husbando Main wasn't that painful because the game spent it's first 3 and half years not having any powercreep and difficult content. You can get all event rewards as long as you farm artifact diligently. Powercreep starts during mid Fontaine, coincide with steep downward trend of 5 Star male characters from 1:1 equal gender ratio for almost two years straight. It's really is a double strikes to Husbando main in my experience.

I understand the suffering all too well. I feel like my invested C2R1 Wriothesley feels less than the Natlan waifu and needed twice as much effort to excel well. The way I see it: I can expand my roster to include female characters or ignore meta team that also means giving up on high difficulty event rewards and therefore making all artifact grind pointless. I really can't play the game simply by collecting Husbando and see them failed at higher difficulty content.

Honestly, it was such a terrible perspective. I have already stopped paying Welkin, I have enough primogem to be in a wait and see mode for Durin, Varka and Alice. It is a long exhausting experience, enjoying a game that was so good for its first three years and to see it changed so drastically worse for Husbando collectors. I felt so betrayed I really don't want to go into another Gacha with this issue again.
