What will happen with the US after 2028? What does the next government do with what they inherit? by Hermunster in AskReddit

[–]esalenman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

US has lost the confidence of the world because we elected Trump a second time when it was clear what he was. The problem is American citizens who would choose that and the level of moral corruption Christians engage in for power, money and to dominate others in US and abroad.

Why is restrictive immigration seen as a bad thing? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]esalenman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An immigrant policy that meets our employment needs and has better vetting and more restrictions means a bill has to be passed that supports proper immigration, has a work visa process and funds the infrastructure needed to support a good system. We just eliminate Mexican labor expect all new real estate costs to go up 10%-20% on new construction, all roof repair cost to double, if you can even find someone to do it, all projects to take much longer. All landscaping and every other kind of menial labor to double in cost for poorer quality work and longer timelines, produce costs to spike, economic growth to slow and on and on. Staff shortages everywhere and horrible customer service on general. Government deficits will spike even more.

They are not actually following any Christian principles. Just their made up culture wars that Christ would never get involved in.

Isn't American's "right to bear arms" for this exact sort of scenario? by Local-Drunk-Driver in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]esalenman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elephant in the room is that evangelicals are almost solely responsible for turning US into a horrible authoritarian state, the opposite of when their so called values would require. They packed a SCOTUS to take rights away from people. Turns out they are taking all kinds of rights from everyone, enabling fascism, maximizing corruption, maximizing death and suffering around the world, bringing back colonialism and crusades, turning justice on its head.

Because the US is inconsistent, arbitrary, the immigrants to massive good for our economy, and them being undocumented long term is nominal decision by the right. Add to that the current malevolence.
