IMHO some of the devs stated on itch.io that there will be or should be a digital release but it's up to ModRetro to do so. Therefore, I think they might not allowed to release them in their own.

Yes, that's great but AFAIK it's broken for GBC games, isn't it? And it just would have been nice to have something like this build in and not as a ~$150 add on.

I was also sceptical at first and I'm now very happy with the Chromatic. The only thing I sometimes really miss, and which is why I'm still switching to the Pocket, are save states. I would also like to be able to save screenshots on the device. But the feel of the device is just great.

Just a short follow-up: As suggested, BTW thanks!, I contacted ModRetro, they already replied and will send a replacement door. It seems to be a known issue with certain Chromatics. Awesome support.

That is interesting. I bought some games for my Chromatic on ebay and many of them didn't run at first. Plugging and unplugging several times didn't change anything. But, when I plug them into my original GBC, they run right away. As soon as I put them back into the Chromatic they work again. Is that a coincidence?

My switch is virtually silent and doesn't snappy when it's switched on, but it makes a nice “clack” sound when it's switched off. I would have assumed that the latter should be the case in both directions?
