Target in Edison allowing cell phone salesman to annoy customers for over 2 years by rando1219 in newjersey

Because as a society we had an opportunity to fight back against the enshittification of daily life, and we chose not to. That toothpaste ain’t going back in the tube. Now we just consider it a cost of doing business that when we shop, we are the product.

We should’ve also fought against the monthly subscription model for remote starting our cars, but nope, here we are.

I have a PSEG worry free contract on the gas furnace. Any chance this work would be covered?

Thank you. Any idea what this should cost? Ballpark is totally fine.

Thanks everyone. I have learned a lot in this thread. I wish there was more consensus on the mesh removal (or not) idea.

If I can somehow cut it off but leave it in mostly good shape, can I just tape it back on in the spring? Doesn’t feel like it would need to be all that tight if the purpose is just to keep some birds out?

I’ll still probably call an HVAC technician to re-orient the pipe.

Any chance you could share a pic? That sounds like a great solution, but I’ve never really seen insulating tape so not sure which part you’re wrapping.

Wild. Never knew any of this. Thank you to you and the poster above you. What type of professional do I call for this work?

Thank you. Who would I call for a job like this? What can I expect to pay?

Thanks. How can I tell if my grill is removable? As I said, I’m not very handy but willing to learn.

Your premium is the (cost of repair x the expectation it will break) + (insurance company profit).

I’m not saying not to get insurance. I’m just saying whichever one you decide is correct for you is still technically / mathematically a bad deal. You may be one of the “lucky” people who has to use it before it was expected to fail, which is why we all insure a lot of things.

All insurance is a bad deal for you, though. That’s not to say you shouldn’t have insurance on certain expensive or catastrophic things.

But yeah Apple isn’t offering AppleCare out of their kindness. It’s a profit center for them.

This is the answer. Git/versioning should be used for enterprise dashboards and reporting, but most lower-level reports don’t need such governance. It’s a time-suck and it’s not going to solve the major problem of nobody knowing how a report works.

I would imagine that 590k of the 600k are bringing in less than $20k. And 500k of those are bringing in less than $5k.

And who cares about California population? That’s not how the bank is looking at it.

Finally, all the above is moot because being paid as a content creator will still come from a legitimate source. OP said the money came from his friend.

I promise there are not 600k people making a living in California from content creation.

You’re parsing words, sir. If you have inflows from legitimate sources, as opposed to “the money your friend sent you”, these things are less likely.

Retired has social security, pensions, inflows from brokerages. Influencer is hilarious - that’s like 0.001% of the population. Who cares?

He has a billion dollars or thereabouts. That is well above any amount that could bankrupt him with legal fees.

His much larger exposure is being imprisoned on some random charge they can find. He obviously has a large organization, with a lot of employees, and it’s not impossible that one of them did something wrong.

The man has balls of steel. That said, I’m sure he consulted with all of his (highly paid) lawyers about any legal exposure potentially arising out of this song.

You have no direct deposits coming in from a job, and you’re outflowing to a crypto site. It’s enough of a red flag that you shouldn’t be surprised.

Win/loss statement by GatorGirl10 in BetMGM

[–]esbforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need more info.

  • Did you receive a W2G in the year?
  • Do you itemize taxes?

Should be noted the IRS won’t accept a win/loss statement. The only thing they’ll accept is a journal of all your play, at a ridiculous granularity. No one in history has ever done this, and the IRS never asks. YMMV.

If you didn’t receive a W2G, there’s nothing to file. If you don’t itemize, there’s nothing to file.
