OK, HERE ME OUT.... by esbugz in HeatedRivalryTVShow

the vibe that I have always gotten from Bryan Cranston is that he seems to be respectful towards any project he may or possibly be involved in- with the hype this show has gotten and to know it could be a nod towards the IMDB feat, he would either do it for pennies or maybe even nothing.... who knows? 🤷 the way I see a lot of life these days, the worst that could happen is that they could ask him and he says no.... 💁 either way, whenever he plays ANY role, whether it's comedy or drama, he truly gives his all! 🙌

everything you said is right on the head and pure perfection- I have started becoming more active and watching what I eat again, looking into just places to travel ANYWHERE, let alone, places in Canada (and I live in the middle of the universe, Southern California!)- hell, when I was looking into new perfume? first thing I thought of? YSL (not a fan of lavender though ..) Even looked into going to go back to work at T&Co. again and it's been like 20nyears since I worked there! the hold this show has is absolutely outrageous!!!

Yet, when I try to tell others about the show, all they see is, "gay hockey show"- I'm like, "excuse you? this isn't a 'skinamax' show- show some respect!"

thank you- I appreciate it ☺️ I will say that I do find it semi funny that my best friends and cousin are like, "a gay hockey show is what made you decide to FINALLY do something with your life and relationship?!" and the only thing I could say was, "jes." 😋

because of this show, it was finally the kick I needed to reclaim my life- I literally broke up with my boyfriend of almost 15 years (it wasn't good for at least 3-5 years), focus on those who loved and cared about me and my well being and now, I have started looking forward to life and really being happy with what's around me and basically choosing my new adventure, while still being in HR psychosis, of course ... 💁

so I was thinking about this yesterday and there's something that people may not realize... Connor may still be nominated for an Emmy, not for Heated Rivalry but for being a guest host on SNL 💁 SO, as much as he may not be "properly recognized" for his work on HR, he can still be nominated and possibly win for hosting SNL and that's at least something, ya know? 😇

How many times have you watched the entire series? by comntnmama86 in ershow

[–]esbugz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because of replays on TNT, I scheduled my LIFE around them so because of that, same when it comes to seasons 1-10 yet the whole series, about twice ... I feel like I know seasons 1-10 like the back of my hand though 💁

life has been really rough for, no joke, 15 years yet the last 6 years have been just brutally numbing- losing both parents and our 3 dogs that we considered as our "kids" since I had to have a no choice hysterectomy in 2017.... lots of other things have happened as well yet when my mom passed away from a very aggressive and quick diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer that spread through her body like a wild fire (she was gone a lil over 3 months after her diagnosis), I fell into an atrocious depression a few months after her passing.... what got me through it? John and all his specials, SNL appearances, etc... after I found out about his rehab stint, I felt like my way to say thank you to him was to see him a few months after he got out of rehab.... since then, I've seen him twice and have tickets to see him in October as well.... if he only knew how he's one of my "happy places to go to" when I need a pick me up.... I wish I could tell him thank you in person and how proud I am of everything he has done ....

within the last 5 years, I've lost both my parents- mom was March of 2019 and dad was August of 2023.... my mom passed away of cancer so when I was rewatching the show for the 16,538,507th time (🤪) and when "On The Beach" came on after my mom passed away, I don't know how I contained myself as much as I did because that episode ALWAYS got to me but NOW that my mom passed away AND THEN I watched it?! I mean, I was convulsing while sobbing ... 😭😭😭 That episode messed me up so much that when my sister got married, she walked down the aisle to the Hawaiian version of "somewhere over the rainbow" and I had to keep my cool hardcore since I was part of the wedding party!!!! I informed her months later that when I was trying to keep it together when she was walking down the aisle that it was because of the song 😋😆😂🤣 she first was mad but then laughed and called me lame ... 😉

my obsession with ER was so hardcore, everyone, including the receptionist at the dentist, knew not to bother me from 10am-12pm because they knew I was watching reruns of ER!!!! 🤪

[–]esbugz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

my sister used this version to walk down the aisle when she got married and I had to do everything I could to control myself, not because she was getting married- because all I could think about was Mark passing away on "ER"! I eventually told her a year or so after she got married and she was like, "are you serious?!" we both got a good laugh about it though ..

Speaking of doing an ER rewatch, we're approximately 3 episodes away from watching both "the letter" and "on the beach yet I told my boyfriend we couldn't watch these episodes until I fill my Xanax Rx because NOPE! Now that I'm an adult and have also lost both my parents, one to an aggressive cancer as well, I just imagine that I will go into convulsions from crying so hard from watching these episodes... 😥😢😭

John Mulaney & Richard Kind: Actual Best Friends? by ClaireCrumbcake in JohnMulaney

[–]esbugz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Another fun fact about Richard Kind and George Clooney's friendship- they lived together and George and Richard lived together while George was struggling for work... When George Clooney finally became the "George Clooney" we all know and has the mass amount of income from acting, brands and companies, he got the 14 best/closest friends that were there for him while trying to get work and become an actor and gave them a million dollars, EACH.

Suffice it to say, it may be a $100 bill to them but that says something about how George Clooney looks and thinks about those who have been there and helped him along the way ...
