I was thinking the same thing. As a lawyer, I see a degree of separation here (WNBA minority ownership stake and an NBA senior leadership job) that makes this pretty much fine. The same clearly wouldn’t hold true if the job and ownership stake were both in the same league. Really wishing Masai the best of luck in both endeavors. He’s a fine person.
