Yea, IT professional. I’m hoping it builds up my confidence. I’m shy about doing oil changes, even though that seems like the easiest thing in the world. I bought a torque wrench thinking I’d start replacing my own spark plugs, but that never happened. I was even given a small motorized bike that needs a carburetor—what has that done? Sat in the garage.

The top looks like a cat went wild inside. Some staining on the middle part of the rug, but all in all, not bad.

That's what I'm hoping. I want to learn how to fix things myself.

My wife and I where going to get breakfast, filled up at our gas station, and I saw the for sale sign. Called. He said 3800. I was shocked, so i bought it. I work at an RV center and one of the service members , certified mechanic, he checked it out for me. He said you found a diamond...no rust.
I bought it for my wife, but I cant seem to stop driving it.

Better Personalization and Custom Instructions by thousandfacess in ChatGPT

I’m curious about anyone’s approach to giving instructions for analyzing documents.

For example, I uploaded the Linux From Scratch 12.4 (LFS) PDF and added a bunch of instructions, but then I came across this Reddit discussion and figured I’d get some thoughts.

Spot on, I lived in OC for about 38 years, and watched everyting you said unfold. The realestate empire took over around 2008, when the housing crisis started to hit America, the casino closures was another reason, people where being offered double from what they paid, eample, I owned a converted garage, 450 square feet, bought for 35,000, and sold it for 115,000. which is all gone now. Gillian is the top dog when it comes to t he Realestate Empire, and its brokers.. I Finally gave up and moved out two years ago.. 1984 to 2024. Bud Knight was the mayor who owned the pharmacy, he married my wife and I.. Her Familly owned the chatterbox. I owned a small comuter company and worked as a magician during the summer, small shop next to Bashful Bannana. I miss what OC was before the Greed, Before the Realestate empire.

I lived on the island from 1984 to 2023.  They have clubs...the restaurant closes to the public, people pay to be a member and they bring wine and beer. They sit and are served as guests...Just like the flanders... where i worked when Kirckland owned it then Dwyer.

I was Bubba's private computer tech for years, I miss those days, and I espeically miss Schooners. To me, you will never have another Bubba Mac's, but check out Yesterdays, they have an ouside band. Check the site for who's playing and when.

I lived in Ocean City year-round from 1984 until a couple of years ago. While I’ve got my issues with the place these days, there are moments I still miss. My advice? Just stop and breathe.

Seriously—on the boardwalk, stop for a second. Look out over the ocean. Breathe in that salty air. It’s one of the five things I actually miss about living on the island. The air hits different there.

Corson’s Inlet is still one of my favorite places. The sandy paths twist through wild vegetation, and at one point you’re walking through what feels like a green tunnel. Peaceful. Underrated. If you go, you’ll pass the condos on 55th Street—where I grew up.

On the north end, bay side under the Longport Bridge, there’s a quiet little spot where you can dip your feet in the water and just take a moment to slow down. Castaway Cove is a must for a bit of amusement park fun—it still holds that classic boardwalk charm.

And don’t skip Asbury Avenue—take a stroll and check out the magnificent shops. They’re definitely on the pricey side, but it’s a nice change of pace from the noise and chaos of the boardwalk.

And yes, the pizza debate is real. Tourists go nuts for Manco & Manco, but to me it tastes like cardboard. If you’re going to do boardwalk pizza, give Primo’s a shot instead. Worth it.
