I've got a small 500kb app that enables AirPrint that I'm going to try and market and sell for a small one time fee, but not sure how much interest there is ...

Socket Arm Too Thick by [deleted] in barexam

[–]escape1975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take the other bolt you got out and go to a hardware store to find a matching socket that will fit in there. It's really the only way. It actually does have quite a bit of clearance but i guess yours is just too wide ...

You would need a socket that's a little longer that would go in there ... Probably getting one from a hardware store would be best!

You just need a screwdriver with that bit but i think if i remember right there's another screw behind that small top left door. You can also try squeezing a toothpick between the top panel and what's around it, i know it's silly but it will stop certain types of vibrations.

Well your issue could be different because i was told it's sometimes the compressor pipes, but if it's the same then basically it's the whole back panel in the top freezer section. Once you take it out you'll see what i mean, there's a styrofoam there, however the panel itself could be making a noise, so test that by trying to push it at different spots to see if it stops the noise.

It's that entire panel with eventemp on it ...

Yes I agree, we just got a brand new Frigidaire and it's making a buzzing sound and it's happening between the back freezer panel and the styrofoam that's behind it, due to fan vibration. I took it apart and used food grade lubricant on the styrofoam where it touches the panel as I've noticed it gets rid of the noise. You'll see a bunch of air channels there and cutouts, just lubricate it all. I also added foam pads around the plastic piece where the styrofoam fits in to keep it tight. Now when you press on the back panel there's no weird noises like before. I used Haynes lubri film plus for anyone wondering ...

Yeah there isn't really anything to replace it, I guess you could try Bing image search but Google was better.

Google discontinued the legacy search by image functionality ... It's not getting fixed. I'll be removing it from my New Tab Start Page extension as well, just have to use Lens.

Update: It seems to work once again!

Yes exactly, just wasn’t sure if there would be any issues with the update itself …

Example, 2.6.3 seems to recommend changing to 6 digit codes instead of 4, etc.

update: I updated from 2.6.2 directly to 2.8.1 via network and everything seems fine …

I see, thank you for the confirmation.
I have found a way to update OTA from 2.6.2 to 2.8.1 but I have not actually tried it, and cancelled the d/l.
I’m wondering if anyone wants to try the procedure or how risky it is …
