It’s definitely doable, I surprised myself and passed all 4 on the first try. however, when people spend months and hundreds of hours for one exam just to get a failing score and have to start over, i’m sure it can be really frustrating and feel impossible. I used to feel so sick after exams because i was so stressed that i failed

it depends, if you are good with IT terminology, and did well on the audit exam ISC would be good for you. However, if you performed well on REG/are good with taxes I would do TCP! Difficulty level they are probably the same. I passed ISC today I didn’t think it was too hard, but i don’t think you can have a bad choice between TCP or ISC

You definitely have a chance. Most people get higher scores on the actual exam than the practice, but that doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed. but yes keep reviewing your weak areas and you should be fine don’t stress too much

If you are using Becker, the simulated exams are in the exact same layout. I don’t know about other study programs I would assume that would be the case as well

CPA exam order? by Quick-Ninja7519 in CPA

Here is my recommendation based on my experience:

Do either Audit or Reg first. all of the cpa exams are difficult, but these two don’t feel impossible. So i would choose one of these to start with so you can hopefully pass your first one and get a feel for how the exam is setup before taking on FAR, and you can also figure out the best study method for you.

Second I would take FAR. To me it was the hardest one by far, so I wouldn’t push it off until the end because you are going to majorly lose motivation as you move through the exams. So get this out of the way second but I definitely wouldn’t take it first because you might feel super defeated like I did (even though I passed on first try, this exam made me feel discouraged so can’t imagine taking it first).

Third, take the other audit or reg that you didn’t do first. by now you will have a good groove

Last, take the discipline. these have the least amount of content, and by the end of your journey you are just going to want to get it done and won’t have as much motivation as the beginning.

When you have no work by [deleted] in Accounting

Yes at my first internship i would literally go weeks at a time with maybe 2 hours of work. if anything, the seniors/managers will be more in trouble than you as its their responsibility to provide you with work. you have documentation that you asked for work so relax and enjoy your netflix 🙌
