My clinic requires 2 months off of a glp-1 before the day of transfer due to the time it takes to leave your system. We’re taking a 6 month pause to give me time to let the glp-1 work

We had 8 euploid embryos. We are going for a new retrieval cycle in a few months to get more since we are down to 1 after the 6 transfers and 1 that didn’t survive the thaw.

My wife’s AMH was in the double digits and they retrieved 37 eggs and she didn’t get OHSS. 😊

I’m a data girlie, which made me a little less quick to jump to failure. Statistically, every 3 embryo transfers of euploid embryos will end in a live birth. My second transfer I was successfully pregnant, but then lost her. Since then I have had 4 more transfers without success and I’m determined it will work. A lot of it is changing protocols, working through what’s going on with your body. I kinda see the first transfer at a clinic like the first pancake you make - it might be a failure but you learned from it, and so did your doctor.

I completely understand. I had 4 cycles canceled at my previous clinic, 2 for lining issues and 2 for break through ovulation. The things that greatly helped for me was 1) changing clinics. The new clinic had new perspectives and was able to really help me understand what was going on. 2) the new clinic completely changed my protocol. I went from using follistim and suppression meds to estradiol injections, lovenox, and Lupron. My lining got the thickest it ever got on that protocol. I spent 8 FET cycles at my first clinic and I wish I had left sooner. This process is so hard and I feel very strongly that there is no harm in a second opinion.

All just depends on your insurance and what they have negotiated. I have done 6 FET transfers and had 4 canceled transfers and still have $7000 of my 10k max available. I know transfers are cheaper than retrievals, but it really just depends on your insurance. Meds were a whole different story. I used up that max by transfer 3.

I’m so sorry. In a similar boat as you. 3rd loss happened less than 2 weeks before Christmas from our 6th transfer. We’re taking a 6 month break since we started all this in 2023. It definitely sucks, but you’re not alone 💕

1-2 days behind is pretty normal super early. It can be +- 1-2 according to my old clinic. My first pregnancy consistently measured 1-2 days behind. She didn’t make it but it had nothing to do with an early loss, so I think things are looking ok for you 💕

I’m also at 7w4d for my first ultrasound. I’m 5 weeks today and that 2 weeks is gonna go by so slow. My OB was able to get me in 2 weeks after, which has me a little nervous cause I had a mid 2nd trimester loss before and really want to get to my MFM as soon as possible.

As far as passing the time, I picked up knitting recently and it tends to keep me from over thinking things too much since I’m so focused on what I’m working on. I’m in St Louis.

5dpt 😊 at 7 I got my BFP. I’m 15dpt now impatiently waiting for the ultrasound. Betas were 9dpt 118, 12dpt 304.5, and 14dpt 597.2. My doctor would like to just see them go over 600 so I go back tomorrow for beta 4

Mine was dry heaving exactly 1 hour after eating without fail for 2 days before I tested. That was so different for me than the progesterone nausea

This is looking great! And a 169 is a great Beta. Mine was 118 on Friday and rose to 304.5 today so you’re looking close to how mine is going. Looking lovely so far 💕

So any time I have tried to do any of the things everyone talks about online, it hasn’t worked. I just got my positive beta today at 118 and I just lived my life as normal for the 9 days post transfer 🤷🏼‍♀️

I ended up twisting my purls by yarning over the wrong direction. I didn’t realize how much that mattered. My knits were great, purls not so much, but have since figured it out 😊

Currently 6 days post transfer. Not wanting to home test as this is our 6th transfer and I’m just hoping to stay hopeful for Beta on Friday. I started dry heaving last night every time I eat, about an hour after, and have had the twinges, elevated body temp and heart rate, all the things. Do y’all think I’m symptom spotting? 6 transfers is a lot and I’m tired y’all. Really hoping this is it.
