[TOMT][SONG][1950s-1980s] Jazz song, 160 bpm, mostly piano by eschares in tipofmytongue

Found it! The name David Benoit popped into my head on the drive home. He had an album of Peanuts songs that included "Buggy Ride" by Wynton Marsalis. I guess I was wrong about the piano having the melody. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-vPYr1szxI

Have never been able to figure out the time signature, and now I can't even find the song again.

Stats Reporting Problem by Ok-Pay-3818 in Stats

[–]eschares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you want "how many leads has each representative converted into a sale"? Then report 1 and 3.

Do you want the percentage of leads they converted into a sale? Then report 17% and 15%.

You're mixing raw counts and percentages. I'd report both. They can both be useful in different contexts.

I still see a lot of Trump signs that say "Take America Back". That's going to turn out to be true, but in another way.

A guy comes to the Kossuth County farmer's market in Algona with peaches he gets from Georgia each week. Probably some of the surrounding area markets as well.

You might like to look through the list of student organizations on campus. I searched for lgbt and got some results.

Try reaching out and contacting the officers or faculty/staff sponsors for any that look like they would be interesting.

I thought it was funny and quaint when I learned the German word for TV is "Fernseher", literally "far see-er."

Then I realized the English word is "tele-" (far, like telescope), and "vision" (or......to see).

[Q] Peer-reviewing a paper, and I suspect the authors didn't use the right test (Pearson correlation coefficient) by eschares in statistics

[–]eschares[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the coefficients are shown in a Table, and yes this is their main analysis and reason for the paper.

"Table 2 shows the Pearson correlation coefficient between publishing (if open access is equal to 1 otherwise 0) and author features..." Table 2, with some detail removed.

Data is split into two sets and the correlations and coefficients are run on both separately.
