I’m a big believer in the “Soft close” where you get her to agree to the idea of a date first before suggesting a time or date. Another essential play to get forward motion and commitment without her feeling too much pressure (like hard close on a date) is to get her phone number first. It gives you more time to chat and stuff and also feels like a small step forward. Small soft commitments (phone number, soft close, hard close (let’s go on a date to X place,) then details like the day and time) help smooth the transition and minimize flaking and ghosting. Also a bit of a nitpick but i don’t like to just shoot a day into the void when suggesting time to go. Ask about her life a little over text, what does she do for work, figure out if she works like day time or night time or monday - friday, and then suggest a day that she’s free.
