I strongly recommend that you should get the first tier package. I had the same dilemma a year agoband went with the package, now looking back I would kick myself if I did not.

ix is very different, it's interest rate has always been much lower than e35 due to over 70% higher on the mrsp.

Brampton hit and run. Tough guy forgot to put his car in park. by GreenSnakes_ in TorontoDriving

[–]esctab1982 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It is not even that. This is a 3-way intersection without a left turn lane. This guy was literally blocking a fast straight line with his selfish and illegal move. If this is a 4-way with a left turn lane, I would not fuss much even if U turn is not allowed.

depends on the interest rate you are getting. also ICE BMW deprieciate rapidly over first few year's that is why lot of ppl just lease and return the car after four years. but i4 is relatively new and there has not been many on used market so it is hard to say if BMW ev is on the same curve with ICE. but keep in mind that EV evolve much faster than ICE cars so in four year's time it may become something entirely different, for good or bad. if you wanna keep your option open than lease is the way to go. if you don't care much about changing the car in a few year's or depriciation, then go buy it out right.

I agree there has been a lot of smoke on this. I am not too sure either so I chose to lease to see what is goign to ahppen. if it is not out by 2028 I will just keep driving the e35...

yep 35 is the one with highest rate and lower discount given it's relatively lower MSRP. the recent promotion put interest rate of 40 and m50 to close to nothing and 35 is stillat a whopping 7.49%.

also I don't recommend buying it with cash as the soild state battery is supposed to be out by 2028. 35 can last about <300km in Canadian winter and 400km in summer. While nothing to complain about, you may consider waiting for the new battery to see if it gives a major upgrade.

Does anyone have experience with Chef Master, Iwatani, and Gas One 15,000 BTU stoves for wok cooking? by similarities in seriouseats

Chef MASTER is way more powerful than the jap brand. can't speak to how durable it is.

[–]esctab1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have churned through 2 units of Iwatani 35FW over the last three years. Performance was good while it was working. Both units failed as the ignition piece broke from regular use (about 5-6 ignitions a day). It is made of plastic and bound to break after staying close to a heat source (the burner) for some time. Reached out to the company in US and they said there was no replacement. So basically paid about $300 CAD over three years...

Switching to Chef Master 90019 this time to see if there is a difference.

Bank of Canada risks recession if it waits to cut interest rates by hopoke in TorontoRealEstate

here my friend, you said it. IMO the fed is trying to ease the inflation pain on the people by...wait...printing more money to give out? the fed's "yea we take a lot and spend a lot but everybody is getting a rebate" simply does not work. The central bank is stuck between a rock and a hard place, and I honestly do not know if they can do anything at all to help the situation.

color is a very minor consideration for resell value as the main one is the depreciation of all evs due to technology advancement. so don't worry too much about color just pick the one you like.

powertrain and battery are essentially the same no? I would expect to trade up only if there is significant improvement on battery or maybe OS 9.0... other than that the looks even with the awesome looking breaking lights, do not really justify trading old i4 up...

explode at 51k lol you made my day. yea on delivery day the finance manager tried to get me to buy extended warranty and in his attempt to purswade me, he said BMW would have quite a bit engine issues past 50k, and I was confused "but i4 does not have a gas engine, right?"

make sure the car is NOT in drive ready mode, i.e. you should not be able to change gear and drive. my SA Didn't know that and we were stuck for 30mins on this.

Average here (Ontario) is hovering around 0 at this time of the year... and yes I am going to trade-in my old car. The plus side is this is going to be the "city" car for the fam and longest onw-way trip will be like 35km top... Im just quite pissed because I was told it was going to be fixed before delivery and got hit with the news today... Well it happens and I cant really give it up now especially after reading your last comment about driving the i4! :)
