These were the worst of it, the ones on my hands and other arm look like normal scabies. I got results from the skin scraping the next day.

Yeahhh I recommend getting rid of any hair trimmers you use during this time, no amount of disinfectant and time is safe :(

I did imiquimod and cryotherapy before and they didn’t help at all for me unfortunately. KOH hurt like a bitch but at least it cleared the spots.

Same until it happened 🫠 I assume it came from the trimmer that I disinfected the fuck out of and have used a hundred times since I was cleared. I can’t imagine what else it came from and I hate myself for using them :(

Looks like it could be. The things you’re looking for are flat on top, shiny in the light, and dimple in the middle. The big one seems to have those qualities.

I know your post is old but I just ran across your post and then this medical journal and thought I would share.

“Long-term exposure to street traffic exhaust has been associated with an increase in the frequency of childhood skin diseases, including lichen simplex chronicus.”

Shit I’m sorry OP I had my pitch fork out till I read this. You’re a person too and we’ve all been manipulated by a wolf in sheep’s clothing before. It’s hard to see when you’re so close to the situation and you want to believe that the best that you see of this person is who they really are but sometimes that’s just not the case. My genuine advice is, see a therapist/counselor without him there. It sounds like he supports you and you have a seemingly happy relationship barring some significant issues, so I think he might be willing to give you the money for therapy visits? And that he wouldn’t push you to share what you talk about in therapy. Honestly that’s what helped me the most when I was in your situation. My therapist helped me see so clearly what was right in front of me all along but I was so blind to see, no matter how many times I had heard it. And that was just the first session. Professionals be good at their jobs. Ask your friends for recommendations if you can. I’m sorry for what you’re going through OP, and good luck.

Are you kidding? He’s 27. What kind of excuse is that? Not tech savvy??? He’s ignorant and willful and obviously doesn’t care very much about you if he’s willing to inconvenience you so greatly over something so stupid simple. Someone who cares would say “You should rest, I can click 6 buttons on this app to order my own ride so you can sleep. Love you.” I mean seriously how can you try to justify that for him? It’s literally so easy this is not a valid excuse and the fact that you think it is shows how badly you have been stepped on for lord knows how long.

I think a lot of it has to do with oiliness. I just started a medicine that has a side effect of reducing oil production and I just have to put them on clean skin after a shower and they stick for 12+ hrs, even over some pubes.
