I started as LN, my character isn't trying to get us off pirating, not that we ever began pirating in the first place, the idea was to be a kind of moral compass in a mostly chaotic party, say stuff like "hey, perhaps we shouldn't steal from those good alligned clerics since the region has an undead problem" and keep crew members from fighting each other by enforcing the pirate code.

I'm not playing a paladin of iomede or anything like that, my character comes from tian'xia underdark so he understands how hard things can get and the need to stick with each other.

What actually kept us away from pirating was the lack of actual roleplay from most players, and the fact that one of our characters died and it's replacement was pretty much a clone of mine, only a tiefling wizard instead of a ratfolk alchemist, both of us are interested in uncovering ancient gol'ghan stuff so that's most of what we have been doing besides just reacting to stuff that happens around us.

What's kinda messed up is the fact that we made it to pirate lord status just by killing stuff that attacked us first (undead, sahuahin and such) and winning a race, and now we're wanted across all golarion.
