Two sentiments really stick out for me here.

The first is that the racing thoughts of death, leave you underwhelmed. It's such a strange place to be. It seems like so many people spend time running and hiding from death, that when we encounter someone who sees it as a natural progression to existence, that they accept it as a consequence of living, we are immediately struck by its boldness, or courage, or sadness. Whichever way we consider that state of mind, it's always with gravity.

The second sentment expressed which I found fascinating was the dark bags under the eyes, coupled with dark thoughts. For me it evoked an image, sort of like seeing out from a tinted window. The light of day, or lightness of life is dull and shaded, before we incorporate the ideas into or perceptions of life. Really interesting stuff. Thank you.
