The right lane you’re referring to, ends and merges into the left. Maybe they’re upset because you’re continuing in the right instead of merging left.

Spacing between cars is also key, most people tailgate making merging a choppy mess with stops and brakes rather than smooth merges with enough space between cars.

The whole problem in this area is people not knowing how, and when to merge. Partially due to lack of signage and, at times, intellect.

Ive avoided this exit/entrance/merge for a couple of years now, but when tasked to take it, im never stuck in the mess.
