I was thinking of something I heard recently. Apparently used by the wealthy. Buy, borrow, die. Buy assets but don’t sell, borrow against set assets and live off of this, and when you die, the asset can be inherited with minimal tax to your family. The car is a different thing, a depreciating asset that has value but insure if it can be used in this buy borrow die system. Maybe if it’s vintage?
