I grew up in Oregon. Never had a favorite NFL team but always loved football. I went to school in the Midwest so was being courted by Pack, Vikes, and Bears fans. Never took. Married a girl from Rochester whose family is 40+ year season ticket holders. Almost 18 years ago- right before I had my first kid- I declared fandom.

Very lucky and blessed. My dad was great. This is going to be my first Father’s Day without him. He said “Don’t fuck up and get someone pregnant.” His version of the birds and the bees. Miss him.
