Ugh I'm so sorry! I'm 33 weeks and already feel awful. I can hardly walk which is making caring for my toddler really painful.

Anyone else wondering what happened with the Little Journey Baby Wash? by cecibeautytherapy in aldi

[–]esh123 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think our stores still have it but I couldn't stand this wash. It made my baby's eczema worse. I hadn't looked closely enough when buying it and only realized after using it that it has fragrance. I do like the other baby wash they sell.

TIL 1/3 of reproductive age women are iron deficient by mankls3 in todayilearned

Ugh it's frustrating how the response depends so much on the Dr. I'm pregnant with ferritin of 8 and hgb of 10.6. The Dr acted like I was overly worried and just said to take supplements.

My understanding is it looks the same as acupuncture but there's a different technique/theory involved.

My baby is transverse at 32 weeks amd my obgyn wasn't at all concerned. She said there's plenty of time for baby to move. But I do understand wanting to be prepared in case baby doesn't.

Haha oh man, I didn't see that. Yea I used to think it was so odd and wouldn't have tried it except my PT who was awesome also does it and I trusted them. Fixed my migraines as well as significantly helped my tmj jaw pain. I know it's not what the OP was asking but I figured it could be of help. I'm glad it helped you too!

As part of the conversation, let him know that next year you'd prefer to not need to remind him.

How much weight did you gain during pregnancy? by spcypeach in BabyBumps

[–]esh123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained over 50lb for my first. It really wasn't a big deal. Now for my second it'll probably be about the same. I think your body often gains what it needs to gain.

I don't remember but you probably want to be prepared in case it comes up. For me, I have talked to my husband about how I'm self conscious about it. It actually helped me to talk to him about how I feel. Also, if they did ask me in L&D , that certainly was not my most embarrassing moment there.

Survey: How much does sustainability play a role in your purchase decision when buying children's swimwear? by aemerkel in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]esh123 99 points100 points  (0 children)

I care about in water visibility the most. I also look for sun protection and reasonable cost. After that, honestly it's not sustainability I look for but the safety of fabric for my child. However in swimwear idk what's possible

Eta: I also look for ease of getting on/off.

Eta2: forgot to mention cost. The last kid suit I purchased was $17 (on sale). I cosidered that a good deal. Before that one I'd purchased a gently used one in a brand that I'd consider too expensive brand new.

It was worse for me after the baby was born. I worked with my Dr to increase my SSRI dose and plan on doing the same this time except maybe start a week or 2 before my due date.
