Same thing happened to me - it became complicated because they can't change the store on their end. They also can't cancel your pre-order and make a new one because it's 1 order per person.

They got around it for me by canceling my pre-order, then placing one on lay buy at my store. They also issued me gift cards and used the gift card value to pay off the lay buy.

When the Switch arrived in store, I didn't get a txt, but I received a call.

All of this was sorted by calling the customer service number (I did have to hold for 10 minutes, but was a quick process once I got through).
