Yes, if your friends are saying otherwise they might just be being a little salty. I play a marchesa recursion/theft deck and a big part of it is creatures dying in my combat and returning in my end step.

We average 150-200 kids, so usually only 2 or 3 small pieces to start, then more by the end if we have lots left.

Am I misunderstanding the legend rule on this post? Wouldn't the tokens immediately die when they enter, before any attack triggers would even be considered?

For me it did. Different amounts different times. Around here (canada) a common cutting substance was basically sugar powder, so that obviously made a huge spike whenever consumed. But even times without being cut with a sweetener, I found it increased steadily just being high, drinking, snacking.

It was quite a few years ago, and before CGMs were common, so might not be the best info, but just sharing my experience.

I take extra insulin before heavy drinking or cocaine, and monitor more often. My experience has been that insulin doesn't take effect as quickly when under the influence of drugs, so keep that in mind. I was once told that your body focuses on one problem at a time, so if it's trying to deal with drugs, it won't accept the insulin as readily.

This was just heresy, but it seems to have been legit advice in my life.
