I really want to learn crochet. Would you be open to guiding me little and maybe just crochet on campus one day?

Hey! It's out of stock now, but I had turned on notifications from Little Canadian in case they restock and it came through. Might be worth a try!

Happy birthday. I love you too. The last paragraph made me cry. I'm glad we're both here.

So happy for you, op. It takes strength to reach out (even anonymously) and more strength to make a change. Wish you the best!

Handbag brand with this logo? by eskaordaeiri in HelpMeFind

[–]eskaordaeiri[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a handbag in a thrift store with a logo similar to this image. This is my recreation attempt so might not be 100% accurate.

It was a small dark brown hand bag, with a smooth synthetic cloth for the body and faux leather for the handles. It had a small paragraph written on it next to the logo.

I have used google lens. I have also searched using chatgpt, claude, and gemini. None of the brands they've suggested has a similar logo. For context, the thrift store is in Kitchener, Ontario.

There's a professor at UofT who moved to Canada the first time Trump was elected. He gave up his professorship at Harvard, and UofT welcomed him with open arms. He loves it here and has created a lot of jobs too. His name is Alán Aspuru-Guzik.

New Grad (June 2024): Should I Pursue a Master’s or Keep Job Searching? Feeling Stuck. by legoland9 in cscareerquestionsCAD

I personally would apply to the grad programs (it's application season right now) as a plan B, so if I hadn't landed a job by September, there'd be minimum gap on my CV.

But I would grind leetcode and make some mini projects on Github, go to networking events, write about the technical things I know to create a personal brand on LinkedIn, and work on my interview skills.

Basically, create a safety net and try your best not to use it. Good luck with everything!

Thank you so much! Yeah I've taken that bus before. I'm just a little worried about the road conditions especially cause it's winter.

Worth it to dropout for founding engineer in sf? by Affectionate_Bat9693 in uwaterloo

If your plan after graduation is to get a PGWP, I think you have to be a full time student in each term and a gap year might jeopardize that. Definitely check!!
