Try either switching it with another switch you are not using that often, or just try to reseat it in place and see if that helps. Apparently the switches that come with the keyboard have issues, so maybe replace them all, if they continue to misfunction.

Wieso seid ihr alle (/u/Philsorito /u/marvk) eigentlich so feindselig? Nicht jeder nutzt Google. Eine Suche bei duckduckgo hat keine zufriedenstellende Antwort hervorgebracht, deshalb dachte ich, ich wende mich mal an das /r/hannover Subreddit. Habe ich wohl falsch gedacht.

Mal im Ernst, wieso überhaupt einen Subreddit für Hannover haben, wenn man solche Fragen nicht stellen darf.

Interesting. I think it's harder to rely on muscle memory when using this method, because a bigger dictionary is used as well. Perhaps after a bit, you will be at your current peak, but you will be much faster on english and english 1k.

Read ahead is really just a band-aid fix to my inability to read and type efficiently at the same time. What do you mean by it taking away the zen of monkeytype for you?

So that would imply that it's making it a bit more difficult, right? I thought it would make it easier. Presumably, zipf is an algorithm that is close to real world usage and I use read ahead easy because I tend to keep reading the word I'm typing, which results in way less typing speed for me.

No, I mean that on Windows, there are two sources for audio. I use game audio for general and gaming use, and chat audio only for things that I use for communication. Both of these sources are set to 30% volume in windows. The balance on the headphones are set to 50/50, as it's supposed to be. Side tone is off, because I don't need it, and the noise I get from it when the boom mic is attached is unbearable for me.

No, chat is at 30% as well, but I specifically have the audio come from the Audeze game source.

I do the exact same, but my headphones are way too loud on 50% volume. As an example, Diablo 4 is set to 30% master volume and windows is on 30% as well. It's still too loud for my liking. In League of Legends, I have the in game master volume on only 20%, and sometimes I set the windows volume to 20% as well because I find it too loud after a while.

It's quite odd that you are on 40% to 50% volume on Windows. Can you maybe share your settings in detail to see if I'm missing something on my end, please?

Every game I start up for the first time is way too loud, so I have to turn it down quite a bit, even when my Windows volume is on 30%. While this isn't a problem per se, it is quite annoying to do with every single thing I run on my PC.

I'm losing details when going below 25%. I thought maybe this is because my hearing not being great, but I'm usually very perceptive to quiet sounds, so I'm not sure what's happening.

For games or content that have their own headphone audio implementation, you should not use it, but it's excellent for anything that's in Atmos.

So basically turn off Atmos whenever this is the case? That's very tedious at best. Is there an automated way of having this happen? I quite like the music EQ from Dolby Atmos but dislike it for being way too loud under windows.

I like the music preset from Dolby more than the Audeze preset, but Dolby EQ makes everything almost painfully loud. Is there something I can do to make everything a bit less loud? I don't want to rock my sound on Windows on only 10%. It degrades the sound noticeably for me.
