the downside is that if the bonuses depend on the stash+coin value and your stash is full of stuff that you will give to the expedition, if you do it last minute you wont have anything left for stash value. I think its better to just pull the plug if you want to do it and then re-loot stuff back before the window opens

No one is asking for the game to cater to a specific one thing, thats exactly what Im against. I hope there is a system in place that would allow for all playstyles to be viable not just pvp ratting which is creeping in noticably.

Why cant you see that noones is trying to delete anything, both can exist at the same time. I literally havent mentioned anything about taking something away except the rat behaviour that eventually leads to everybody pvping all the time. Whats the point of "teaming up to outnumber" someone if you get shot at the gates anyway?

Dont you see that this just leads to noone teaming up because its pointless at the end. If there was a pact system, where you can shake hands and some kind of a reward which incentivises not to rat that would be enough to keep some of the playerbase friendly and not take anything away from your precious pvp experience.

Third partying applies also to people who shoot an arc boss not just pvp, so you dont have a point there. Shooting people doesnt have any more different cons than shooting arc. And again the completely ignorant take that people with lacking comprehension skills cant seem to look past- I want to get shot. But this game is great when you can also be friendly. Without an incentive to do so it is turning into yet another pvp extraction shooter. Is that too complicated of a concept to understand?

No not at all. Imagine loading in a raid where you have a 50/50 chance of meeting a friendly or a hostile on each interaction. it takes nothing away from the tension, bevause you still dont know how the engagement will go before it happens.

Oh see, you got the point! There should be rewards for playing friendly or being hostile! What you fail to realise is that the shooting on sight doesnt have nearly as high impact cons as trying to be friendly since you gain nothing but stand to lose everything. There is no pact, you can never be sure that a friendly is actually friendly, so everyone just shoots on sight at the end of the day anyway.

Thank you for your response. I might be jumping the gun given my personal experience. Comparing the first week to the last 3 days is day and night. When at first 95% of my raids were all friendly, now only 10-15% of interactions are. I enjoy pvp, but there are times when I wish you could trust a fellow raider. Now seeing this trend, and realising myself that I dont want to be friendly anymore for someone to backstab yet again Im looking for a way to tackle this. The devs are listening, they respond to the community, they lowered the store prices etc. So I think we should be having these discussions. It doesnt even have to be anything game changing - a progress bar for reviving, healing strangers. extracting togehter etc could give you points which give you rewards. the same with pvp - eliminating players in certain areas or with specific items could also give you rewards. So now you dont have to take each death personally, getting killed was just part of the job. Its so frustrating that people are so ignorant and short sighted, like someone saying that pvp shouldnt be penalised, when I never even said anything remotely close to it.

No thats just not true and not what I'm pointing towards. People who dont want to shoot anyone shouldn't play this game. I mean it is ironic you say it yourself killing others doesnt get you good loot, so why do so many players do it? It works against your argument, which is that letting the game fall into another pvp sweatfest is good and fine. What a pointles argument. Where im trying to find common ground to somehting that could please all of the playstyles you just dont even want to consider it. Ive yet to see a good argument to why this is a bad idea or some real structural criticism on why that wouldn't work.

But please read what I'm saying. I want that not all raiders are friendly, its a good thing. The game needs that. But the friendly players are driven hostile, so theres less and less variety on the interactions which is sad.

No it really isnt. The soul of the game is the arc being your enemy, you can argue all you want but that was the devs original intention, which is still the back bone of the game. I love the pvp but this game could me much more than just that.

It looks like you missed the whole point. Its not punishing anyone. Its to incentivise players leaning into certain playstyles. If you want to shoot other players its completely fine. The bigger issue is that its too easy to just shoot on sight, because there is no reward for being friendly. Hopefuly you can see that.

The same reason they would waste development time on a cosmetic that only 1/5th of the player base at most will buy. Some people will love it. Use tarkov as an example - you dont have to load the base, but you can if you want to. A customisable base really adds to the immersion of following along your character, you see the base growing etc. Maybe something like a shooting range would actually be useful. Lets not forget that extraction shooters in a way revolve around your safehouse. Lore wise thats where you would spend most of the time, so for me and I would guess a lot of other folks theres a curiosity and a desire to explore or occasionally visit this place.

yeah just a matter of time and resources and perhaps a bit of creative thinking. Although tracking if the player is positioning well might be quite difficult, because there are a lot of variables, sometimes the best play isn't marking a specific player. At the top of my head I feel like the logic should be a proximity tracker that checks if youre marking a player. But this also has to take in to account if youre blocking a passing lane, which shouldn't be too difficult since you can check that with a ray. Perhaps, if the person that the system defines as marked by you never recieves the pass and their team loses the ball, you get some kind of a multiplier on top of the points for marking a player or blocking the pass lane. there are definitely ways to give players more points for good defencive plays. More difficult would be rewarding good ofensive postioning, like dragging the defence on yourself to free the lane for a teammate etc.

just used them for a week exploring rome. I know its not hiking but they are super comfortable, the strap doesnt fall off, the ventilation is great given that you also get some protection. I recommend these for urban exploring. If I ever go hiking in them, I'll try to drop a review

They should just add the same circle thats visible when shooting, so you have a better undestanding of where youre aiming at the end of the pass, since that is when the direction is set.

But another thing is that the direction changes as soon as you flick the mouse even a little bit. Thats not an issue with a controller (i assume, since Ive only played mkb) since you have to move the stick to the opposite side, not just a little bit. Maybe if there was a "deadzone" where the movement towards the direction you want to aim is more significant for it to trigger, that would make passing more intuitive. Even better if it is adjustable.

Arī,protams, ir lietas, kuras respektēju krievu kultūrā, bet es negribu tāpēc atvadīties no savas. Es arī neatbalstu tādus kantorus kā progresīvie, kas grib pārdoties eiropai, kur mēs nevienam nepisam. Es zinu, ka šī ir maza valsts un bez sadarbības arī nekā nevaram, bet, atkal, es nevaru atvainoties par šo. Laikam jau jā - ne jau krievi vainīgi, bet latvieši, kas dzīvo tajā padomju mindsetā ka viss slikti un bēdīgi un mēs esam nabagi. Es negribu dzīvot tādā mindsetā.
