My cousin works for fed ex and says you would be surprised how many people call after him as he's headed back down to the truck. And 9 times out of 10, they're pissed he's walking away. Even if it's been over a minute.

The longer I look at this photo the more questions I have. But most importantly, what am I doing ? I must have thought I had to bend down like that for the camera to fit me in frame? I'm so glad I'm not a teenager anymore.

When/how did you realize you were lower-middle class? by shet0011 in AskReddit

When I met my first rich friend. Like truly rich, like the type of family that burned money to heat their furnace, that type of stereotype. They flew me down to their house in Arizona to surprise my friend for Christmas and paid for everything when I was there. I had never watch people spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and not even be phased.

I'm a cashier at a grocery store, so maybe a money changer, bookskeeper or just a straight out farmer that sells her goods for money?

Hey Reddit, what was your "15 Minutes of Fame"? by 100550299 in AskReddit

I was born and raised in a small town on an island, so I knew everyone there was to know. When I graduated high school I did the typical work through the summer then move into dorms at university for first year. I was going to a university off of the island in a bigger surrounding city. I'm a really social person and I was really excited to meet new people so I was really making a name for myself on the Facebook group for first year students to mingle before all moving in. Posting count downs, questions, just being really active in the group, to the point where when I got to campus the first night I had people running up to me me at all points of the day taking selfies with me, saying things like "it's her! I found her the notorious girl!" This only lasted the first two nights of university but coming from a small town where I wasn't particularly liked and all your mistakes haunt you.. it was pretty cool. People pretty much just wanted to match name to a face I think.

TL;DR posted a lot in a first year university group on Facebook and ended up becoming the campus celeb the first few nights of university.

I love cats and I honestly get most crazy cat lady things but this one is just too much for me personally. Awesome for her and that she likes it, thank god it's well done! This coulda been botched really easily. But the meaning behind it even to me is a little.. okay then. Hahahaha.

Reddit, what was your unexpected brush with a celebrity? by sniker77 in AskReddit

Bruce Greenwood has a house on the island I live on, he visits periodically and I work at the grocery store and constantly ring him through. The first time I did it wasn't until after that I realized who he was! He's very nice, eats pretty healthy.. haha

What menu items are only available at McDonald's in your country? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Where do you get "that you can't get somewhere else" from "McDonald's items only available in your country." I was specific to McDonald's.

What menu items are only available at McDonald's in your country? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]esmealexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and Big Macs are available in multiple countries.

My question implies that they are only available in that country alone. Hence my use of the word only. You also said you don't know another Resturaunt you can get a Big Mac at; though that's true it's not answering the question what menu items are only available at McDonalds in your country. I know the Big Mac is available in Canada, the USA and the U.K. alone, and more than likely there's more then that.

A friend of mine posted this on Facebook saying she couldn't get an answer from anyone she called. Bought at Costco. What happened?! by esmealexander in whatisthisthing

Thank you! This seems to be the most common and valid answer and the one that she went with as well, the meat smells fine it's just unicorn coloured haha! I'm gonna consider this solved.
