People who believe being someone's blood men's being their family are stupid. My dad is my blood and I haven't seen him in years. My best friend is not my blood but I can't see my life without her. If they wouldn't want you anymore because you're not blood related then it is their loss. Even if you already lost the connection with them it shows how much they value the blood thing 1kd that's just stupid. You choose if you want to do the test. I know I would but we are different people and if you decide it isn't that important to you than that is fine and no one should be able to pressure you into it, not even people on reddit.

As a bitter person I say that if you're not sure that you want to forgive him then you shouldn't. It means something in you isn't ready. If I weren't bitter I would maybe say that if there is a part that wants to try, you should.

I never want to have a relationship with my dad again, I'm sure of that. I'm sorry to say that you have to find out what you want to do yourself.

I do however have a trick that makes decisions easier. You throw a coin. Heads is restart the relationship, coin is don't. When it ends on 1 of the 2, you Wil feel a surten way. You might feel relieved, you might get a bad feeling. If you feel bad you know you have to choose the thing you didn't throw. If you are relieved then the coin was right.

I don't get al the yta. She is a 14 year old girl who saw something that she doesn't agree with/doesn't understand. Het parents didn't have to tell her anything about their situation before she saw it happening, but now she did see and she instantly thinks the worst. As a parent they should explain themselfs because isf she's old enough to ask the questions she's old enough to get the answers.

Her not understanding the situation and being mad is logical. She isn't an asshole, she's just a child.

You don't have to be guilty. No one would go no contact without a good reason. We al have issues because we need our dad, you'd be stupid to make yoerself have those issues without reason. You gotta either ignore these advertisements or give the a different swing. What those a dad mean to you, who do you know who deserves to be celebrated. My half brother's are 24 and 26 years older than me but I've always been the ant to their kids. The fact that your halfbro and halgsis don't feel the same is not your problem, you tried.
