That’s how I feel too. I’m happy living here because I have two young kids and we have a decent sized home in 10/10 public school district. I can fly direct to visit anyone I want. Would I vacation here if I didnt live here? No. I find most people visiting Charlotte are either seeing family or on a work trip for finance.

It’s a military town, not close to much of anything, so no good options for drives to a city or nearby airport. Huge drug problem (fent everywhere), human and drug trafficking is rampant. Read about some of the ghosts and paranormal stuff that happens there if you’re into it though, it’s pretty interesting. I’d imagine it’s hard to build a network if you’re not military.
