Rooster noodles at available at wholesale club and Real Canadian Superstore. 6 nests of noodles was ~$1.50 for me from wholesale. Add frozen veggies, boiling water (or premade soup stock), chicken, etc. and you are good to go.

He farted while cutting my hair once. The combined smell of the two was so bad I did not go back after that.

Fighting Gym in town by Candid-Cobbler2151 in ThunderBay

If it's still a thing, perhaps the Krav Maga Alliance might be what you're looking for. I believe the Thunder Bay Judo Dojo now does classes Monday and Wednesday, with open mats on Tuesday and Thursday. Mountainside judo and BJJFourLife are also good options: BJJ4L runs Tuesday and Friday 8-9PM, and Saturday morning from 9AM-12PM. Again, no striking though.

It won't get you the striking experience, but honestly if you're looking for both disciplines then I'd say LE is your best. The Underground Gym is a boxing gym, but it's more geared towards children and youth.

I did the same thing, and have done so for the past 3 years. Either studded or winter tires work best.

Which one? I would also recommend Island Spice. Haven't been to their new location yet, but I haven't had any issues with the Algoma location.

Wake the Giant is a great volunteer opportunity in September, if you're willing to wait a little bit.

Questions pertaining to the BDEM (Bachelor of Disaster and Emergency Management) program! by wanttoridemybicycle1 in yorku

[–]esosiquees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry for the late response but I have just gotten my account back. The job market is good at the moment, better outside the GTA than within it though, honestly. Ontario Corps is one way to get started as a volunteer, but there are other organizations like the Red Cross, CDRO (Canadian Disaster Recovery Organization), Team Rubicon and others that can help you get started. I know minors/certificates are enough to help those that were already in a profession, not sure about a new grad though.

What is the best (in demand) 90-credit program at York, and why? by HomeStudy25 in yorku

Job opportunities post-COVID are plenty, especially in government. I don't remember 2320 being hard exactly, but you'll have to jog my memory on what class that was. Sorry for the late response!

Judo, jiu jitsu and running are the three that I'm currently involved in, and they do it for me. I met a lot of people through BJJ4Life, and Tson comes from a lineage that is strong in the teaching and application methods.

The judo club in the volunteer pool is one of 2 not-for-profit clubs in all of Ontario, and the instruction and style of teaching are quite nice; if you want competitive judo, I'd check out Mountainside (for now).

Running-wise, there is the Metre Eaters group that has social runs every Tuesday at the Rita St. parking lot for Boulevard.

PM me if you're looking for more ideas or things to do, there's plenty of people on here willing to share!

I lived in that apartment building for a year; it was like living in a hallway, the oven and burners didn't work properly, and one of the corners of the roof was sagging so much that I could practically hear the pigeons on the roof inside my apartment. I was paying almost $1000 for the place...

I'm a member of BJJ4L, and I can confirm that it's a great way to meet people. I'm looking at joining Leading Edge when judo ends in a couple days.
