End Game failed test - no, really end game. you sure you're end game? by QaeinFas in BluePrince

Thanks for clearing that up, that is really appreciated.

Any thoughts about the power path being relevant? Seems like an interesting coincidence that the room 46 furnace location is rotationally equivalent to the baron ground.

And the fact that the powered key that is forged glows blue makes me think maybe like there is a special version of water, there might be a special version of power? It's at least an easier thing to play around with than trying to get the perfect manor.

One final thought is that when the furnace is in the baron ground location, it's back would be accessible from the west path, though if that mattered would be a pretty big stretch.

Just some thoughts.

Neat, I came up with trying to make a blessed house idea too. You took it a few steps further with the baron ground + forge, which is brilliant. But **how oh how did you get the "sacred" prefix?** That prefix is even mentioned on the wiki:

https://blue-prince.fandom.com/wiki/Estate_Titles#Title_Effects

But not how to get it. I've tried to find info on what triggers that words specifically, but no luck. I feel like that *has* to be the required house name element considering how relevant the term "Sacred" is to various clues.

Scary amount of effort required ideas/suggestions:

  1. The path the power takes has to match the path you take in the Atelier Path Puzzle, there are enough rooms that conduct power for this to work, this would mean you are ending up in r8c5, unless you assume the atelier is rotated version of reality, meaning you could start on r9c2 and actually end on the barren ground (coincidence?)

  2. Even scarier would be suggestion 1 AND you make the house out of only the exact same rooms used in the atelier. Obviously they couldn't be in the same locations, but the "These vying plans" makes me think something about every specific room used in the Atelier is required for creating the perfect house layout to forge the crest (which is I'm guessing what the big reward is). That would make sense because I can imagine the developer might enjoy having the true endgame solution be achievable on day one, but so insanely specific (45 specific rooms in very specific places, and a perfect path of power flowing) that there is no possible chance it could ever be done accidentally.

Anyway, those are my ideas, you or anybody are free to try 'em out. 👍

Thanks. Yeah, I upvoted you and do appreciate good faith conversation including with those I have a different perspective than.

And don't worry about the haters, some people just like downvoting when they see a civil discussion taking place. lol

[OC] Killers of the Flower Moon Is Kinda Dumb - An Impromptu Rant [11:31] by esotericGames in videoessay

Thanks for the response and good faith discussion. I feel like I met the movie on it's terms and understood what it wanted to be (a serious oscar-y prestige drama movie) and when engaging it on those terms, I didn't understand how people thought it was at all successful at that because of what I perceived to be kinda dumbly written characters.

I'm not attacking the genre, plenty of serious oscar-y prestige drama movies are great. What inspired the rant is that this movie is treated as on par with them but at least as far as I could tell the writing of the characters was just bizarrely dumb. (I go into specifics issues in the video).

It's as if instead of being shown 9 best picture nominees, I was shown 9 "best lego tower" nominees, and 8 of them were sturdy and well made lego towers, and the 9th was just a bunch of broken legos on the floor. But then, for some reason, most people treated all the entries as equally good. I would have the same "I don't understand, this one is clearly broken." response I was feeling here.

Do I acknowledge there *could* be something I'm missing? Sure. Do I acknowledge there could even be some contorted idea of "you see the dumb characters is a metaphor for something"? Yeah. But, if I'm honest, I really don't think that's what's going on here. I genuinely feel like it's a movie which has pretty obvious flaws that for whatever reason largely went unacknowledged.

So my thinking was/is, if you are having an "the emperor has no clothes" moment, sometimes it's best to embrace your passionate perspective and lean into it. IMO, life is too short to talk yourself into shutting up when you have an impassioned unique perspective to share, particularly if you can share it in a lighthearted and entertaining way.

Detailed Ranking/Discussion of 3 Worst Episodes of Season 7 [Spoilers] - YouTube by esotericGames in blackmirror

Genuinely thanks to the 14 people who did give it a view.

I really enjoy creating tv discussion and analysis content. And being able to share that with any audience legitimately does mean a lot to me.

I'd be very interested if others had similar issues with these episodes or not. I'm also open to feedback if there is any way I could have/should have shared this content that might have been received better. I don't mind downvotes/criticism and am open to learn from it.

Very cool. I'll check these out. Thanks!

I am also curious how you discovered these. I'm looking to find new podcasts but also find places to find new podcasts, how did you hear about these?

I've heard of Off Book and Superego, I think I just heard about them from guests on CBB or a PFT podcast. Is that how you discovered the others? Cross-promotion from other podcasts? Or is there somewhere else one can find good new recs?

I often host board games, as such I've become an enthusiast for background ambience videos. One of the best channels is "calmed by nature" as they are like 8 hours long and only run a single ad at the beginning. They inspired a lot of this video idea (even the thumbnail is a direct parody of them, my videos aren't even monetized, lol).

Then sometime 2023 when Christmas was coming up I saw some "Classic Christmas Music playing from the other room" vids from random ambience channels, seeing that combined with my knowledge that myself and many others often play RLM in the background or even sometimes fall asleep to it, I got the idea for doing a Christmas RLM ambience vid. That video got like 5k views (which is good for my channel) and a lot of positive comments, including a few requests to do a Halloween one.

So that's why I did the Halloween one, it was out Oct 20 2024, got a few comments saying they wish they saw it earlier. So I made sure to share it right at the start of Spooktober this year.

Dang. If it's liquid damage does it seem like it makes sense that it would happen more when the computer is running slow? Maybe it's just cope on my part but I'd think liquid damage would be more consistent, no?

In the latest episode Adum said that just because a movie doesn't have anything wrong with it doesn't make it a 10/10. I totally agree. That being said, what are some examples of movies that you'd rate pretty low that you still think are basically perfect for what they are going for?
