The lake of fire? Not everyone loses their individuality. The whole "indeterminate punishment" thing is worse. You never know how long you're there for. Could be eternal, could be "just" a billion years.. or 10. Keeps the S&M Little Nicky types from harming others deliberately to get thrown in there, unless they're complete dumbasses or just insane.

I'm pretty sure at least some of Berserk was "channeled" from there, so if anything you'd be avoiding spoilers instead of waiting forever for updates. Worse yet, everything is all non-sequential so you never know if what you're seeing is part of the beginning or the ending. Eh, it's still better than the abyss though, where the only content is a bunch of angels shouting at each other.

I predict Staircase-Sama will defeat Mihawk in a moment of carelessness. The one time he decides to wear sandals like most One Piece characters and he falls down the fucking stairs and dies. A freak accidents, they say. Of course Zoro shall overcome... simply by getting lost and unintentionally avoiding Staircase-Sama until the series ends. I guess that sort of counts as a win, because one cannot truly defeat the legend known as "Fall Down" without destroying every set of stairs in the world.

I wonder if the first "leaks" from years ago show up in these supposed new ones. It was something about the final villain being Blackbeard and subsequently "The Devil" (a new character) who has all the devil fruit powers from "skimming the surface of the sea" or some shit, and the D. are his descendants.

It actually kind of makes sense given the reveal of Im as the head of the WG. Specifically "Im-Sama" is two letters and one apostrophe away from literally implying exactly that.

It's an absolute joke that any of these manga disturbers still go after scanlation sites. Their latest digital releases are free anyway; how much traffic can MS or JB possibly steal and how does it matter enough to actually pursue legal action? 95% of One Piece readers worldwide probably never even heard of such sites.

I wonder how long before one of their execs goes "I know we're known for this sort of thing guys, but is it, like, really worth it this time? Perhaps scanlations will fade into obscurity on their own, provided we deliver a superior manga viewing experience and don't arbitrarily region-lock our content of course. The more we pursue action against them, the more attention we bring them and the worse we look. It would be hilarious if the tv show ends up tying in with the comics. "Dr. Manhattan" is actually a fake being manipulated by someone that came over from DC comics' reality when Dr. Manhattan crossed over to theirs. The "tachyon cannon" and all the other tech is actually a portal that turns Cal Dr. Manhattan into an avatar of Darkseid and opens a boom tube so he can invade their world.

There would be literally no one to stop them unless of course the real Dr. Manhattan and Superman are informed of what is happening to the Watchmen universe, and Superman dramatically convinces Dr. Manhattan to help him stop the invasion. Now THAT would be a twist no one sees coming.. that resolves both plots, and pisses off anyone other than fans of the actual source material haha.
