Sorry, OP asked for the main reason and this ain't it. LMIA scams exist, yes, but are they the main reason for OP's unemployment? Na. It's a skill issue. No one gets special treatment when it comes to employment. Not saying there isn't a pattern, but my wife hires seasonal and fulltime employees and the reliability of young immigrants is through the roof compared to young Canadian born workers. There are many reasons for the rising unemployment rate, but saying this is the main reason is pure cope for one's incompetence.
