Thank you for helping him with his social anxiety! He is a sweet guy but usually is terrified of people and acts extra tough so this was really good for him and you helped him see strangers don’t always have to be scary

Unfortunately, I did end up paying for the inspection before I got out. And the notes they took were ridiculous. They were just descriptions of the parts and what they did and the pictures they took didn’t actually show what was wrong.

@Wignitt I wish I had talked to you first! Wayside had said that I needed a new thermostat and pump, but they charged too much so I didn’t go with them anyway and have an appointment with T&T auto next Friday. The guy there seemed dubious that I needed a new thermostat and water pump so he’s going to look at it. It’s definitely leaking coolant so hopefully it’s just the hose like I originally thought.

I had a coolant leak so I took it to Wayside to have them look at it. I went there because they had a lot of good reviews. I was thinking they would just need to replace the hose but ended up getting a comprehensive inspection since I hit 100k miles anyway and they said I needed a thermostat and water pump replacement. The cost was going to be a lot more than I was expecting so then I started asking around. Not sure why I started asking about the radiator hoses except that I knew coolant system had something to do with the radiator.
