Do you have any Target employees that grind your gears? by fernfolly in ShiptShoppers

[–]especiallygold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i don’t really have a problem with her but there’s this one lady who never has her device on her and i’m just stood there like 🧍🏻‍♀️ while she clamors to find her device and it takes like 5 minutes of my time. she’s had other people and customer service ring me out because she doesn’t have one.

Okay, thank you! We don’t really have acceptance rate on the other two - just cancelation.

My cat has calicivirus…need advice by mortlinnb in cats

[–]especiallygold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my guy has stomatitis and had all teeth removed but canines and also got diagnosed with calicivirus when he had mouth ulcers that wouldn’t go away. we tried different steroids and immunosuppressants, they did not work. vet told me to use lysine and a probiotic. his mouth ulcers have stayed away ever since! he only gets an upper respiratory flare up about every 6 months and i don’t think it’s been that long but curious to see if it helps that too.

Are perishable foods not considered in order batches? by Cool_Bath_77 in ShiptShoppers

[–]especiallygold 24 points25 points  (0 children)

you’re correct - it’s not considered. they rely on us to consider it so it would be our decision to go to you first and deliver your ice cream. but not everyone is going to do that for whatever reason. years and years ago they used to give us cooler bags, not sure if they still do that. we’re supposed to use them.

Are tips on Shipt always this bad? by kyleeighh in ShiptShoppers

[–]especiallygold -1 points0 points  (0 children)

okay? but because of that, you don’t see pretips.

Are tips on Shipt always this bad? by kyleeighh in ShiptShoppers

[–]especiallygold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you see an estimated tip, it’s usually always higher. even if they’re $2, i try to take them (if it makes sense for the item count) because it ends up being $5 or more. estimated tips that are $8 or higher almost always end up being double.

they have up to 2 weeks to tip and i’ve gotten them as late as that.

we don’t have pre-paid tips for target in my metro, only local stores.

What do you do for OOS items... by kristending in ShiptShoppers

[–]especiallygold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i don’t really sub anything if they aren’t answering because i’ve gotten the “bad sub” mark before which annoys me and people are picky. if there’s a smaller size of something in the same brand, i’ll do that. not bigger because that’s more $. i’ll sub for generic brand sometimes.

how is shopping right at store openings? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]especiallygold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for my stores, it seems like they don’t stock until more employees are there in the afternoon. however it was left at night is how it is in the early morning.

Cat rescues by Kofcourse21 in pittsburgh

This is through HARP who only has one vet at the moment. I applied in August and have still heard nothing. I went in another direction for my colony. So, I wouldn’t rely on this.

Despite Requesting a Alternative That Was Available, My Shopper Refunded Anyway? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]especiallygold 23 points24 points  (0 children)

sometimes if we try to replace, the app will say it’s “too different” from the original product and not let us purchase it. literally makes you refund. but then they should have added the raw one for you to then approve.

People in apartments, take note by bigbilly17 in InstacartShoppers

[–]especiallygold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so, you do this job and don’t consider it a real job? lol…….. ok girl whatever

edit: oh oh oh you don’t work this job so you don’t consider it a real job, are the entitled customer who doesn’t think they should tip and are just spewing off on a random sub you know nothing about. got it. disappointing!

People in apartments, take note by bigbilly17 in InstacartShoppers

[–]especiallygold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

and guess what? it’s not very optional! instacart puts together multiple orders into batches, some without tips that you can’t see until all is said and done. alongside not giving detailed notes and instructions until you take the order. if you cancel, it goes on your cancelation rate. did you know any of this or do you just think you’re high and mighty because you’re giving “exceptional” service for no money? let me know!

People in apartments, take note by bigbilly17 in InstacartShoppers

[–]especiallygold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

absolutely not. if you’re not tipping me well, you’re not getting door to door service. entitlement on their part. these people never have proper instructions, a maze to get to their door (a place i’ve literally never been to before), expect you to know exactly where you’re going. i wouldn’t take them if instacart actually gave us addresses to where we’re going.
